India gdp 28% of the worlds 6. Indias contribution for international trade was 24% 7. However drain of wealth worst form of exploitation had taken place in india 8.in 1947 when india got independence its gdp had fallen down to 3% and 66% of indias population remained below poverty line . 9.drain of wealth never happened in india before 1757
