Did this on the 1st, due to starting a bit too late, mechanicals and a slower rider, we ended up in the dark halfway through the sand wash. So, decided to bail via dunn. Next time I'm hoping to do hahn and wild horse. Love the videos.
Yikes. Yah, this ride can take a while. There is a short cut that lets you skip most of the sandwich in the event that you have trouble like this. I will cover it in a future video on the many exit options. Glad you got out ok.
I started it but realized that it's really a one minute video that just says, "Yes, this is a really demoralizing climb. Bring lots of water. The end."
It is coming. I have at least two more videos for this area planned. However, another business project has stopped video production for a few months. Hopefully, I can get #7 up before the next Palm Canyon season begins.
@@WildMeff I'm sorry! In my defense, #7 is an in-depth, everything you should know to have a good time out here, video. So, there's a bit more production going on than I accounted for. But I'm heading out on Sunday to shoot some more footage to get it finished up.
@@outofshapemountainbikersne4243 Awesome! I was planning to check it out on Sunday for the first time. Not sure if I'll be doing the whole Epic or just the Palms - Pinyon Pines loop up at the top. Are you going with Crazy Bear, or got an extra space in your group? ;)
@@WildMeff I'll be on the 7:30 shuttle with Crazybear for the whole thing. Probably the 27 mile version. There were spots left on that shuttle last I looked.
Nice editing as usual! I have a feeling you guys are heading up to the right. My channel shows the trail to the left at the end of this video ( 7:54 ) check it out!
Whoa... I just watched the whole video. Yes, we are heading up to the right and for good reason. In case you aren't aware, that left trail you took is off limits to bikers. It's sovereign native territory, and if they catch you on that trail, they have the right and ability to take your bike and throw you in their jail. And they really, really don't want us there. You got very lucky.
It's all relative. Right "sucks" for people who want more of the riding that Potrero offers, for sure. But I've ridden this with lot of of folks who get to this point and choose right or picked left and then regretted it.
Wow 2:00 ~ 3:00 felt like super roller-coaster riding 😆
It is like that. Palm has a lots of up and down style riding with a few extended DH sections thrown in.

Love the name of your channel, nice video dude 👍
Thank you!
dude these videos rock thank you.
You are welcome.
The video is awesome. Going to do do the trail on Sunday - excited!!! BTW - Is Xavier on the video is the same Xavier from crazy bear?
Thanks! Yes, that is THE Crazybear himself. Enjoy Sunday. The conditions are awesome out there right now.
Where’s the sand wash video?

Where’s part 7? :)

Nice! I plan to cover all of the options out here in full once I get through the basic ride.
