Finally people use the 4 piece ascended set. I got so much hate for it for so long but i use it with field general boots. I still hit 70 str regardless and im still Tanky enough to survive heavy pushes.
Have to say, switching to this gear has made healing so much fun. The amount you heal for, the capability of surving after being jumped by 20+ players is just somthing else. I had used the shock commander for a while, and yeah, you can be a bit squishy, but the high skill heal % is just too good.
Would you say it is worth the switch? I am considering it but i don't want to regret it. I'll have to pump shock commander pieces into ascended to make it work... I'm currently using the triple endurance build
Im a tank considering switching to healer, do you heal only the party or every allie in range? Never healed here. And what is the importance of astral vision? And is possible to play action mode effectively as healer?
It depends on your role. In a regular standard ball group I'd heal outside party and use Astral Vision to help highlight people within my range that could use outside group healing. If I'm healing a point group, I exclusively heal my party as they will be taking constant damage throughout the whole fight. Playing action mode as a healer when only healing your group is really good and well optimized. Healing outside group is a bit challenging, but still possible. Just something to get used to.
I'm upgrading to a 7800x3d next week, kinda excited to praticpate in large scale pvp without much frame drops. You mind sharing your graphics settings for ZvZ?

Tbh the issue im finding now is being chained cc repeatedly. Being tankier absorbs being hit and being able to survive a prone, stun, silence, and having full stacks of oath that healing is already capped at max. Im running shock commander and around 500 skill damage resists to just avoid being deleted 😢
@@Praecision It's mainly patched. You used to be able to press Escape and it would take you out of combat so you can drink Milk right away. It's patched now.
My group is a point group, so our goal is to just keep myself and three tanks up. The two Spear/Daggs are bombers/off-assassins when needed. Healing a standard group would look a little different depending on the comp. Nothing is really cookie-cutter imo.
good heals. I just wish we weren't forced to play a bow to heal cuz I've always hated archers in every mmo I've ever played hah. I feel like I'm betraying my soul =P
only took 716k dmg taken throughtout the whole scrim i've taken double that and still performed with more healing upload a scrim of you taking 1.5m dmg or more and show the "experience" then this feels like a bait how easy this fight was for you to perform
Positioning is important for healers, his party spends a lot of time holding choke points and he’s playing behind the choke, putting his party and team between him and the enemy as he should. I think it was an excellent showcase of his build.
Maybe get a better party and position better. Idk what else to tell you haha. You shouldn't be taking that much dmg if you were smart with positioning and had a coordinated party.
@@TheMgmt self survivability is also important not everytime your gonna have a blood devotion tank a paladin healing + yourself, all it takes is a spinner with some actual dmg and it'll chew through him like butter it wasn't a good showcase of the build as it was mostly free healing which sure if u wanna say it heals sure whatever its carried by the party comp more than the "build"
@ I don't get dumpster fast. We won the whole tournament just fine. Idk what to tell yah. Sometimes people don't share the same experiences as you and that's alright :D .

@toddthorpe1 at this point in the game. I'd say wait for t2 since we'll be getting that soon.

I have default everything on high and Depth and Motion off.
What combat settings do you use for targeting, enemy players etc.
I click them if I need to target an enemy. Or tab.
My party hotkeys are 1-6.

It's a little squishier, but your higher healing makes up for it if that makes sense. You get your "tankiness" from your stronger HoTs.

Ahh. I find it easy to survive still thanks to immunity gauge filling up so easily.

@ The lower your Debuff Dura, the quicker immunity gauge fills up. The higher your resistance, the quicker it fills up as well.

Playing in a group with 3 SnS isnt too realistic for 95% of players haha, those constant tank buffs would be godly for survivability
