That's cool for his debut but if he wants to keep such a muse he needs to balance it by reevaluating his lyrics on some songs. For example, He can freestyle on his singles/radio songs but on his album he should take time to discuss topics. I do like his flow but the meaning is weak.

Some people take lyrics too seriously, Riff-Raff is not someone you can listen to in a dark room and relate to his music, his music is fun and its fun to listen to. Not every rapper is going to be like Kendrick Lamar. People take Jody too seriously. Shut up and enjoy the music. It's more humorous than it's muse. More often people will seek this humor and enjoy it but a true artist will make the time to express themselves in coherent and surreal ways. Childish is hands down one of the best Artists out right now. Throw in Harry Fraud to produce the track and you have gold. Riff Raffs round about rhymes even worked for me on this one. It didn't feel like a song that was planned. It was as if everyone involved were running on instinct and emotions. This track was very refreshing and carefree. I play this song on my way to work now and it gets me through the day

Lava Glaciers is such a fitting name for this track just based on how both of them deliver and what they rap about. Riff comes in with hot bars and a hot flow (honestly the best I've probably heard from him). Then Gambino pulls it way in and cools it way down. Ice cold and solid like a glacier, but not dead. Then there's also Riff's spitting of utter nonsense and Gambino getting really deep with it. Great track.

I need to see a fully produced live action video for this. This song shows Riff Rapp can actually rap. You see a lot of his more mainstream stuff with nothing particularly innovative, but here his raps are so esoteric you can barely follow some of it without context, but seeing the lyrics onscreen here, it's hidden genius. Sometimes his stuff is SO esoteric that it sounds like gibberish (thus the haters), but it's actually just too deep for y'all.

I have been looking for the meaning behind Sonic the Hedgehog cup versus knuckles in my mailbox cup.
First of all, just try to keep up with this song READING the lyrics, let alone invent them and come up with the beat behind this whole thing. It is a flawless, brilliant set of versus from both artists. It's a really impressive song through and through. If I can't even keep up reading the lyrics, it is, in my opinion, pretty good.
Secondly, there IS a thin line of context that runs through this whole album, so none of it, that I can see at least, is gibberish. It is a wonderful piece of work by a guy that will likely have trouble ever recreating anything even close to this. It is too bad he didn't get a lot of cash for this. I have listened to some of his latest stuff and it's not good, at least it is just like the rest of the industry's sounds and lyrics. Bitches, money, weed, jewels, blah, blah, blah. That stuff is boring, thick tongued garbage. But this, THIS, is really solid art.
Thirdly, I hope this guy backs off the juice. His face is so moon faced now, from mostly likely taking a new, and very powerful steroid that I have personally seen put 30-40 pounds of gains on a guy at the gym in only 4 WEEKS! RIff Raff was saying he met Hulk Hogan and whatever that was. He probably got some advice on how to swell up fast, thinking he could get into the WWE, which would have been a pretty good move for him since his candle is almost out already.
Lastly, I hope this guy can save back a little of whatever cash he might be taking in now, but I doubt it. He probably already spent everything. He isn't likely to hit the heights 50 Cent did, but he will still likely end up where 50 has ended up, broke, and having to admit in court that he rented the cars, houses, jewels, and all the rest. I think this does a huge disservice to the industry, and tricks naive kids into believing these guys are actually making this kind of NFL player like money, when they are just as broke as the rest of us.
If anyone has input into the meaning of the verse about Sonic, please speak it.
