of course, glad you're enjoying the videos. Let me know if there's anything that you don't see on my channel that you'd like help with / a video on and so I can add it to my video to-do list!
@@nickydee3088 I’ll let you know if I come up with something. I mostly need to join data from different sources and analyze that. A good one might be some sort of way to compare data. I pretty much send off data with change requests and get it back with changes made. It’s always hard to confirm the incoming data is changed as requested.
I've got an idea of how I would go about it, but have a few questions for you. is the data set you're working with the same columns every time you work with it? Are the changes you ask for specific to certain columns of the data set, or is any column game to be changed? If it's easier we can DM the details thru Twitter (@cest_nick) or thru linkedin (www.linkedin.com/in/nick-rivera-rutg/)
@NickyDee HI Nicky, sorry to trouble you here, but I have a big file that i am trying to read through the excel node, however, it said "Execute failed: Requested array size exceeds VM limit". Do you have any solution please?
Hi Bill, not sure if it will help, you could try to increase the heap size in your system settings. If you Google knime heap you should see a post on how to adjust it to allocate some more resources to your knime session. The adjustment is done thru a text file, so don’t be intimidated if that’s what the Google search shows lol
@@nickydee3088 unfortunately i have already make it 16g but the error persist...so wondering if you have any experience on this, and wish you can make a video to cover it (if it is not made already, hehe)
Hi! Thanks for tutorial! I tried to imply your method, but I have an issue with this algorithm: some of the row data get duplicated or even duplicated three times. Could you have a guess what could be an issue?
Ulzhan Daniyarova hey, I’m glad you took the time to watch the tutorial! Usually when you get repeated data it means you didn’t join on all unique keys or “lookup” values that both tables share in common. I can do a video tonight showing how to trouble shoot. I’m also available to sit down on zoom if you’d like help walking through your data so we can fix your vlookup/join. How’s that sound?
@@nickydee3088 Hey! you were right, it seems that the second table contains several "lookup" values. Unfortunately, i cannot show you my data since it is sensitive, but i really appreciate your intension! i will be waiting for your vid if you decide on making one :)
Thank you thank you thank you!!! Finally somebody who speaks “Excel to Knime”!!!
