I remember having nightmares about it, as a small child, for a few years, before I ever learned what a submarine was. I was terrified of the water for years.
Even now, 50 yrs later, I still remember the terror I felt in those dreams (past life memories). Trapped, helpless, hopeless. Sinking deeper and deeper. The hull groaning, water slowly rising inside. No power or light. Blackness broken by weak flashlights. Horror stricken crewmen all around me. We all know we're going to die, and nothing can stop it. Pressure building. Waiting to drown. 230...and I think this is accurate, I always had this nightmare where I'm in the front seat, then the car rolls down the hill, not stoping while I'm locked in. Every dream this happens, I try to unbuckle the seatbelt but it won't budge, then, the car crashes. I think it's that or I died in the war, or someone close to me is.
