Thanks! In terms of adding bass, it can be difficult. A lot of factors affect that. (Your natural voice register, the mic you use, preamps, etc.). So, here are a few simple tips for a more bass-rich sound. 1. Use the best mic you have. Most cheaper mics lack low-end. 2. Use the Proximity Effect to your advantage - the closer to the mic your mouth is the more bass you'll get. 3. Try to avoid pushing your low-end with EQ too much. Subtle adjustments of 1dB or so are enough, but it varies. You can't add much to what isn't already there, hence tip 1). Hopefully, these will get you on the right path! Maybe this idea needs a video. 🤘😉🤘
I'm simultaneously trying to figure out my podcast audio as he is explaining in real time. If you ever want some before and after's, I got you. 3 days into Resolve from garage band LOL
This has been a topic of debate for a while. Firstly, it gets the best audio out of the mic, so it's practical. Secondly, it's become the norm for social media. I don't mind it. Now, I wouldn't want to see it done in a movie, but in other video formats it's fine. Think of it like "man on the street" or game show hosts. It's not a new look 😊
Man … it just drives me nuts… it’s ridiculous… they wanna speak about pro audio and they look like amateurs … no idea why no one simply plug a lav mic and paste it under their shirt, between their chest..
@@StuartHetzler And, I think it is funny when the presenter puts his taking head video on the screen to cover the actual information we are trying to learn. So many do it, serves no purpose, except to fill some psychological need ??
I was just thinking the same thing. Creators like to make their video a certain length because TH-cam Algorithms favor pushing them out more. But, you did learn ( Pro Tip) how to hand-hold your clip-on mic!
Thank you so much for this🙌🏾
Glad I could help! 😊
Done Homie Real good
Glad I could help!
Great video!!
Thanks! 😊
This is a great video dude. You're doing an incredible job - overlays, lighting, audio, it's all great. Keep going, you're going to be huge one day. 👊
Thanks dude! I really appreciate the kind words. 😌
this is the best one i found so far. Thx! Is there also a way to add more bass to your voice

Nice! Well, I also use Reaper a lot for my music, but Davinci integrates so well with all of my audio plugins I just do it in the box. 😊
@@ThatOneVirgil oh, I'm sure I'll be working my way up to understanding how to do that... I guess I didn't realize the journey I had undertaken.
@@MugsyTheCreator haha yeah... We've all had that experience. Hate to yell ya, but the more you know the more you realize you don't know 😉
Why are all these TH-camrs holding those mics in their hands? Just looks silly to me. Other than that great video😊

@@ThatOneVirgil The best sound could also be achieved by pluggin in a lav mic, which doesn't look absolutely ridiculous.
zoomers love it because it's 'low effort'

I"m already 3:32 into the video and I haven't learned anything yet. Please make a shorter video, please.
No thanks 😊

I've got an upcoming dual mic interview to record. Thanks for a simple approach to try out on the audio/dialogue.
Glad it was helpful!
