For strawberries you should use cobb LED lights and all you need 12 hours light on and 12 off for blooming but if you want longer and lasting harvests add total of 18-24 hours mix lighting with sun and LED
nit implies that they can improve flavour which actually correlates to nutrition....that being said the strawberry is probably mostly sugar and vitamin c...not reputed to be a nutritional powerhouse? no? can only improve nutrition.
