Excellent I loved it 😊❤ I too am a daughter-in-law and I remember my mother-in-law telling me, "ok let the room be just like as it is... it's ok to have it messy...you need not make it perfect everyday, take care of your children which is the main priority".... and many other such instances ❤😎💗
Ohhhhhh.....how lucky you are. My MIL used to tell that every thing should be neat and clean. And I was not able to spend much time with my child due to house chores.
It was something very difficult for my mom to get....but now when she says things like this... I feel true right, why should everything be perfect, I am not saying imperfection is good but perfection isn't needed na. 😊.
Love it. Letting go is liberating!!! I learned this from my mother, who was a perfectionist to a fault. But, as a professional woman with enormous pressure at work, she had to early on find a balance between work and her family responsibilities. This clip also echoes exactly what we are taught in the Management classses: "Perfection is the enemy of good enough." That doesn't mean settling for mediocrity, but cautions one against excessive compulsion to every time achieve perfection, which can cause things to quickly go in a downward spiral. The same is true in personal life. Indian men seem to have attained a far more balanced outlook, but not so much Indian women. We set up arbitrary high standards for ourselves or often buckle down under the unrealistic expectations of the family. As more and more women are entering the workforce, their burdens are considerably greater and different than those endured by their mothers and grandmothers. So, set yourself free!!! If you don't do it for yourself no one will.
What you said is absolutely true. I have enormous pressure to keep everyone happy in my family especially the inlaws side but inspite of all this I am always been scrutinized and one day after an argument I was told that you are 99 percent correct always still we will focus on the one percent wrong. That day I said to myself that the only one who is perfect is God and I am like any other human being . I decided that day it's high time I take a stand for myself and like said in the video that just don't care and first love and respect yourself then only you will get the same from others. I feel as though I was in chains and now free after so many years. So yes changing your attitude and taking a stand is essential for your own upkeep.
@rajyashreetripathi7472 completely agree with you. Thanks to you for posting this comment. Not sure why but it was much needed for me for someone to say - it’s ok, you need not to be perfect in every aspect. Glad that your comment did that today. Cheers!
@smile-dm9kp Hearty Congrats! Good for you. We and only we are responsible for our happiness and peace of mind. The sooner we accept that and take charge, the sooner we can breathe freely.
@nagapavani9582 You are not alone in feeling thebpressure of unreasonable demands from our family , especially, the in-laws. But remember, you and only you are responsible for your happiness and peace of mind. The sooner you accept this fact and take charge of your life, the sooner you can breathe freely. Stop being perfect... just do the most you can. Case closed!
Well very true.... Bhool Rahi hu khud ko... Perfect banane mein... Kya yahi hai zindagi .. We all are human not god... Let's enjoy our imperfections....
Beautiful message. Striving for perfection is actually causing unnecessary stress. Appreciate your efforts. One small suggestion, you could have avoided the abusive word to make it even more joyous and family friendly content.
Good massage for this orthodox community and may be especially for India (anywhere or some specific places) Those who don't know the emotions or feelings of their wives. Because suddenly after getting married they start believing to follow their M.O.T.H.E.R to make his wife's life harder for those who don't care about him in their childhood or any important decisions. It is good to teach women from their stress but here some orthodox husbands believe only the needs of his family members.
yeah yeah very good message to not improve so that feminists can lower the bar of the world and then can equate to the men. Why not strive harder to reach men position rather than lowering the bar? Ah!?
But see, you did not learn from your life and its people either. It is very easy to blame others. The buck starts with self and ends with Self. Be the change that you want to see in others. Like yourself first. Respect yourself first....so that no one steps all over you....❤
What happened to you, Dice Media? After Crushed and Ghar Waapsi, there seems to be almost no big series! What about Clutch 2, Operation MBBS 3 and Adulting 3? 😮
I must say best timing of uploading this clip.. Exam sar par hai, syllabus khatam huva nahi.. I am in full stress.. And now feeling relax a bit... I am like 'u can't complete entire syllabus.. Let it go' 😅😅
I watched this before marriage and saw so many dreams. Now watching it again, and feel so stupid. No such mother in law exist. No such video should ever be upladed, it only breaks heart and courage.
V Nice Concept of this short Story !👌👌 So True…. We can’t have it all’ in life ! And have to learn to not to take Life so seriously, and become a ‘Control Freak’ wanting everything to be ‘Perfect’ And driving everyone around us Crazy. We don’t realise in that Moment’ of getting Annoyed at someone, for Trivial Reason , that we are Driving our Loved ones, and Friends, far from us ! No one wants to be around a Whinger ‘ right ? Life is Short ‘ Kal Ho na Ho … Let’s live it spreading and sharing Love’ and Kindness ‘to each other. 😊
Perfection is the enemy of good enough - a good reminder for each one of us. If you don't have one hour to workout, that's ok... workout for only ten minutes. Something is better than nothing!
Same things are happening with me bt if things are not done perfect I have to listen to taunts too...the things I do are not that stressed, the taunts, rude behaviour that include lie adds ghee to my irritated level to hype even more..
I wish everyone has this type of mother in law
Don't always say mother in law... Wish there exist more such daughter in law... Who the first thing after marriage think of separation from parents
my mother in law goals are like her, she empthasizes the stress that puts you under when you try to be everyone's level of perfect.
@@demifreesoul3958Then start with not separating her from her parents !

Excellent ! So did you go on date together.
I get stressed around my mom , mother-in-law never judged me .
Same happens with my wife as well
Ohhhhhh.....how lucky you are. My MIL used to tell that every thing should be neat and clean. And I was not able to spend much time with my child due to house chores.
