Hi Kim. This video has gone into my Favorites along with some newly discovered by the Iron Cross from years ago. The Symphonic Metal genre is new to this old dog and I’m loving it. The music and vibe is timeless. The Iron Cross cover of Iron by Within Temptation is an anthem for the ages. Andreea is so amazing. Your kind answers to some questions I raised about SU&KM and The Ramp have given me a whole new perspective. Sometimes I’m given over to adolescent vestiges and sanctimonious nonsense. I’m humbled now and just grateful for all the music coming from Andrei and the Ramp. I’ve only been exposed to SU&KM for the past five months. I didn’t know much at all about Andreea, and didn’t fully appreciate Beatrice but all that has changed. In a recent live show he mentioned Beatrice has been through two years of pain, it wasn’t clear to me why. Something maybe to do with medical school. Anyway it’s wonderful to see her performances from three years ago, which I hadn’t seen before. I had the notion that Beatrice and Giulia were rivals and competitors, but I don’t see it that way now. I love them both, and Sofy and Andreea too. Love them for their talent and admire them for who they are. I admire Andrei Cerbu as well. Thanks again for caring to set the record straight and teach me things I’m grateful and feel privileged to know about the history of the Ramp. Peace and love. Joe.
@@PS109VanBurenHigh This is still one of the top videos. I always have been a fan of the opera and meanwhile of symphonic metal.
There are many connections in the studio where singers collaborate in groups or bands you do not expect. And the change of the band names and / or music style over the years.
The Iron Cross has less changes but some guests or additional artists especially for covers of symphonic metal, looking back it was quite crazy. The Nightwish cover "Amaranth" with the redhead Iustina Bulimar at the keyboard and years later with the hair dyed black like Tarya as second singer in the cover of "Paradise (What About Us?)" by Within Temptation. In that phase followed two covers with Beatrice and Iron Cross. And the last surprise was The Iron Cross with Andreea Coman in Amaranthe - Amaranthine.
Beatrice is a basic part of SUKM. I missed her much in the duets with Giulia. Now I hope there starts the forth phase of SUKM (1. Band / 2. A Capella / 3. Acoustic)
Love your range of vocals. You are so worth watching! I will be 64 soon in 2023 and can not get enough of your style.

I absolutely love the "normal" timbre of your voice, but this fuller, more classical/operatic tone is freaking fantastic, too! (I know you used this style for the other Nightwish song, _Wish I Had an Angel_ , with The Iron Cross last month.) And I love your vibrato in this -- the perfect amount for this style, more than most other songs, but not overdoing it.

Because she usually does pop or rock, people have no clue how wide of a range this girl has.

@@B_Wolfen - I looooove symphonic metal (and epic metal), so I'll take all of this that I can get! But I know what you mean; there are a couple songs she's covered that are similar for me -- I don't like the song, but I still appreciate the skill and still like to hear her sing even those songs. Fortunately, I like most of the songs she's covered.

Great singing! I wish Beatrice Florea finds or starts a band to create new symphonic metal songs in the future. She sure has the voice already. Of course, finding a composer equally skilled as Holopainen is hard but not impossible.
Beatrice has the best vocal range of all the singers (thats not taking away from the others)
This is one of her best performances yet.
That's what I keep telling people, and they want to argue that Andreea is his best singer (probably because she shows the most skin).
But, from a purely vocal standpoint, Beatrice's range surpasses them all.

No, not like Tarja, better. In the live performances you can hear Tarjas finnish accent. Beatrice sings with almost no audible accent.
