Hello. Can the added punch smash after double somersault kick EX be controlled? I mean, can DSK EX be executed without the punch smash at the end? I find that the added punch smash after DSK misses and will make you a bit distant from the opponent especially when you do DSK while near the enemy. That makes the added punch smash sometimes awkward in the combo. Nice play as always.
That's the new animation of DSK, the Punching in the end has the final-hit damage (can break the super armor of enemy) Double somersault kick can be linked by Butterfly Effect (which is Twin Shot awakened) after all main Skills including Active Awakening skill has 5 sec cooldown in PvE, PvP (i can't remember) You can control to avoid the punch animation with proper timing, use tumble + do spirit shot or spiral kick (left/right click) after tumble, or jump button to do Air Pounce
It entirely depends on your playstyle. When mastered, you can play either class strategically and effectively. If you're into a more fast-paced, easier to navigate, more airborne, and more fast-killing acrobat, windwalker is your better choice. If you're into a more flexible, more unpredictable, and more combo-locking elf, tempest may be for you.
For me, windwalker is certainly easier to play than tempest. Windwalker is faster, has wider AOE and more damage. You can chase, knock down, and kill an enemy more easily with WW than with tempest. Moreover, serving more as a catching skill, HD of tempest is quite hard to land and needs to be executed at a precise timing. It's not a spammable-in-any-direction skill like a free-casting spell or projectile. It all depends on your playstyle. If you're into a more fast-paced, more airborne, easier to navigate and more fast-killing acrobat, windwalker is your better choice. If you're into a more flexible, more unpredictable, and more combo-locking elf, tempest may be for you.

Use air pounce skill while DSK EX on midair, right before punching animation. (though idk if this could work on new revamp DSK EX now)
