- Nice weather brought out the crowds for the October Pomona Swap Meet. Hundreds of classic cars, pickup trucks, customs, hot rods, lowriders, and other vehicles of interest were on display and for sale.

Wow! Looks like I need to take some of my classics there and sell them. Prices there are going for twice as high as they are here in Ohio.
Prices tend to be high in Pomona
They don’t sell for those asking prices. I have toured the automotive corral many times at Pomona and the overpriced stuff usually goes back home.

Mike, keep up the great work on filming the car stuff in your ao. I'm having fun w/my 40 Chevy Master Deluxe 2 dr sedan I told you about a while ago. Gotta get a headlight switch. It just went south! It is getting cooler in Middle TN. Been enjoying nice weather so far for fall! Suppose to get below freezing tonight/tomorrow am. Got the heat going in the shop. Love playing w/my old Chevys, 56 Chevy & 77 Vette. Have a good 1. I told the wife I would love to come out to 1 of your swap meets/car shows. She said, road trip! Got the frames from Old Focals in South Pasadena. They have them made.
I love the video. But I couldn’t finish watching it. The ads kept interrupting it. Every 3-4 vehicles you videoed, 2-15 second ads popped up. Very frustrating
TH-cam has been very aggressive lately in placing ads on videos. I think they’re trying to get folks to pay for Premium.

Mike -Thanks again for great videos. those sellers w/ No Prices, I don't get it - as most people want to know the $$$ whether they are browsing in most cases or serious buyer. but without a price most people already have a negative/high price on their mind & won't call the seller, so you lose out perhaps a few serious buyers. they need to get people to engage in conversations to start off, just like car dealers w/ adds to get people thru the door.
that goes for parts/vintage stuff or anything. that's why dept stores /grocery all have prices - marketing people have already done studies homework on how people buy things. sorry for the long pet peeves. sellers please READ! might sell more next time w/Price Tags.

You ever think about voice overing your vedios with some non-copy righted generic sound from the event ie.( car sounds, the sound of people talking) in the backround while giving commentary inorder to tour the entire swap meet fearless of any copy rights. Mite take a bit more editing, just a thought. Your still great.
I try to get the swap meet videos up as quickly as possible since it involves cars that are for sale. It would take much longer to add the voiceover after filming.

You would never find a 2 door impala for the price of that four door Biscayne. 10k is fair
Proof that money has no value look at the Pomona prices, those junk ass four-door cars used to be $1,200. now there $12,000.
The prices are usually inflated at the swap meet. Sometimes there are deals though.

That's what I always say if you can put everything about it but no price doesn't make sense because they want you to call tell you everything about it bla bla bla then find out 5k car they want 30k and say we'll I don't need to sell it and for that price you won't
Every car there are put together by glue and bondo junks for those prices crazy people
Most of these cars seem at least 80% valued too high .

California car's are way over priced. If you go midwest or east cost prices are way cheeper
I find the swap meet prices are higher than even local ad prices.
