- Flyovers and stunning vistas from The Old Course at The National Golf Club.
Proximate to spectacular views over Mornington Peninsula and Bass Strait, the Old Course offers a standout experience.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, The Old Course is a dramatic layout constructed on heaving terrain, with fairways weaving between and over large sand dunes, bordered by tea tree and rich native coastal vegetation. Boasting a wealth of exciting shots, perhaps most notably the short par-3 seventh, fused with boldly undulating greens, deceptively wide fairways and striking bunkering, the Old Course remains one of the premier golfing experiences in Australia, and amongst the most memorable anywhere in the world.

Absolutely Majestic - favourite course I’ve ever played…
My favourite of the 3
Extraordinary piece of land and golf course.
Back in the 90’s I would play the public course over the road and sometimes we’d drive into the national afterwards (as there are a few roads that go through the property) and if it was late in the day, there wouldn’t be anyone playing, and I’d go and have a look at some of the holes.
There would be very very few courses like it in the world. Enormous slopes everywhere and absolutely spectacular. Completely different from the two courses down below.
Top 5 I’ve played
My all time favourite golf course as well - played twice and played very well first time round. Way too expensive though so 2nd time was last time.
