What happen to the 20 Lt tank must get red hot and stretch the chain.? We use oil at a slow drip just to keep the chain cool and lubed.

We have a successful Lucas, Wood-Miser and Swiss logger super star. As the mom, wife, secretary, accountant, etc is it worth making TH-cam videos?
Do you make money off this video? Just asking.

Fellow Arborist here in Canada brother. Learning all I can being my new 8-30 Lucas is suppose to arrive next few weeks. Slabbing attachment is handy but it seems slow/er. You happy with it overall ??
What specie of tree was that you slabbed. Gorgeous. Really enjoy watching your killing vids bud. Thank you

Hey mate thanks for the nice comments bet you are getting excited you will be very happy with the 8-30. The slabbing attachment is good for softer woods very painfull on our hardwoods the log i was milling is Camphor Laurel which is a soft timber here is Australia

It's way slow and hard on the back to push all day in hardwood and uses a lot of engine oil to lube it, but is a great slaber otherwise, but the market for slabs is limited in Australia and so much work to dry, plan then find the buyer while dimentional timber sells it'self. Good if your using the slabs. For cladding slabs a bandsaw is better it has 1/15th the kerf and is way quicker. I wish Lucas had a bandsaw attachment to fit the swing blade carridge.

mine isn't so new anymore but its amazing but I do wish the mill would double cut without having to turn around the power head. an once in the blue moon it would be handy ti have the slabbing attachment no very many trees that the band mill can't deal with where I am in canada
