  • Update:
    1. The X630-A3 V1.2 has been updated since X630-V1.3 and remove one on-board spacer to simplify the installation.
    2. The 10pin I2S cable has been added since October 2023, how to use please refer to: wiki.geekworm....
PiKVM (pikvm.org/) is a very powerful and Open Source Software which allows for a remote connection via your Raspberry Pi to turn on/off or restart your computer, configure the UEFI/BIOS, and even reinstall the OS using the Virtual CD-ROM or Flash Drive. You can use your remote keyboard and mouse or PiKVM can simulate a keyboard, mouse, and a monitor, which are then presented in a web browser as if you were working on a remote system directly. It's true hardware-level access with no dependency on any remote ports, protocols or services!

    Note:
    1. PiKVM-A3 expansion board kit is also compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+/ 3B, but since Raspberry Pi 3 without OTG interface, when PiKVM-A3 is used with Pi3, OTG analog keyboard and mouse cannot be used.
    2. Some PC case may not have HDMI port, you need to use VGA/DVI to HDMI adapter to tansfer HDMI port.
    3. Please use the supplied USB Type-C to USB 2.0 A-Male Cable only. USB-C to USB-A cable only with DATA lines (for keyboard and mouse emulation), using other cable might cause instability or damage to either the host PC or the Pi.

Install the heatsinks before building. Don't forget the RTC battery (CR1220). Revisions after this are slightly different, one of the standoffs under the HDMI board are gone. Instead of screwing it temp from the bottom just screw in all 4 standoffs from the top. Remove the film from LCD. Also the network cable they use in the video is killing me! Please don't do cables like that! Hope these notes help someone in the future.

did you put aluminum heatsinks with this? which heatsinks would fit considering there is a fan in there as well.

The machine does not boot without an SD card, but I can't believe the video does not tell us how to prepare the SD card with the required software as its not going to work with a vanilla RPI image.

How about battery assembly? How about audio cable assembly? Heat sink assembly? Not mentioned at all, and not installed in the video. This is not a complete video. And for the updated board, this video is not updated..

looks like you forgot to remove the protective film off the OLED display at around 2:54 ... looks like still left on after the case is assembled as well or the oled got cracked during install.

do you provide heatsinks as well? because I can't see that on your website. also would the aluminum heatsinks fit in the case considering there is a fan there as well.

@@Geekworm The radiator we provide is relatively thin, so it can also be installed. The fan blows towards the radiator, and the heat dissipation effect will be better.

I am having issues with the mouse not working. The discord person told me it was because it was not there board and only happens with your board. Is there a fix? I have it hooked up to a Teksmart 8 port KVM.

Hi, if connect to laptop, the X630-A5 can't be installed for ATX control, you can not control the power on/off of the laptop.
