After so long of living in the UK (it drives you nuts it's so loud and busy). I would love to move to IOM looks like Heaven 😁

Yeah just the cost of getting on and of it, oh and staying and buying property there detracts, plus the charm wears off after 6 -12 months if you're single and under 40 and its been raining and blowing a gale for 3 months......... There's a reason it has a very high suicide and substance abse rate as well.............

It's really nice, but living there as I do you would soon discover the frustration and enormous costs associated with getting on and off the island and connecting to onward or from return travel, especially in winter or with a car.

What's the work situation like there for a lime plasterer, plasterer, tiler, bricklayer and carpenter also diyer? Anybody know, can you grow you own business there as an all round builder

I visited Isle of Man this summer with my sailing yacht. How nice to see the island again in this video.
However, I can’t believe you were in Laxey but dit not put the Great Laxey Wheel (Lady Isabella) in your video….😅 For me it was the pinnacle of my visit!
If I'm remembering correctly, the Great Laxey wheel was closed the day I chose to do the Manx Electric Railway. At least that's the excuse I'm going to use if not 😅
