the best thing about this series hands down is shadi they did such a good job on her that it made me really like dragon girls as a whole in anime. i wish there was more designs like that for monster girls in any anime series.

This is one anime where I can actually understand why all the girls fall for the main character. He's a doctor and one who knows how to treat quite a wide variety of patients and all the various illnesses they may have, that's quite a catch in and of itself, but in addition to that he's also a genuinely nice guy

Fingers crossed for a 2nd season of Monster Girl Doctor I've watched the whole first season and it's amazing and I'd highly recommend for everyone to watch it

About the monster females all being beautiful women and the males just being monsters, I remember seeing only males from three species, the minotaurs at the start, the merfolk, and the harpies, whose men look like bigger, more masculine versions of their females. Also, Kunnai was probably the most human of Glen's patients.
@Intergalactic Dust Bunny That might be in the original myths that inspired the anime, but the only other member of Saphie's species shown was her mother, so there is no data besides them laying eggs like the harpies. The same-sex true for the arachne taylor and whatever Dr. Cathulie, the professor that trained Glen and Saphie, was.

Dr. Glen is 17, a real prodigy. I have read most of the light novels and thoroughly enjoyed them. Would, of course like to see the anime version.
I love these anime where the main character is oblivious to the fact that he’s a babe magnet, and just gets the girls to fall for him by being his kind and caring self.
Those poor males they have a life that they love with all there heart and they get sick they send there wifes to dr glen and then they fall in love with him for just doing his job some of them might even try to cheat with him it honestly make me sad

Wow despite being denser than concrete doctor glen was able to make a harem real quick without even trying, although if he ever wants them to stop than he should pick someone already, in my opinion he should go for saphentite since she's already confessed more than once and he's know her longer than all the other females in the harem.
I don't know about dense... he is a doctor, he has to be professional, and any alternative actions risk a whole lot of jealousy and drama so he puts on poker face to cope.

He shouldn't have to be with anyone, plus I don't think he's dense. I'm pretty sure Dr. Glenn is aware the of the girls feelings, he just doesn't directly acknowledge the situation because he's content how his life is and doesn't want to be in a romantic relationship.
As for Glen having a life outside of work, I don't think he does since he often so busy with work that he barely gets time for sleep.

What if dr.glen was smarter than we realize…
What if, he new that killing the snake lady would make it impossible for there to be peace. He knew she was there to kill her, but the monsters that sent her there would never admit that. So, if they killed them in self defense, monsters would think that she was killed in cold blood.
This would make it impossible for there to be peace. So instead of killing her, he befriended her so that there might be peace.
Perhaps he even though that, if the monster would kill him despite his efforts, that it wouldn’t be worth living in this world anyways.
And Maybe, just Maybe, he caught wind of the fact that she went to medical school, and decided to go there himself to help build up the trust between humans and monsters.
He's dense but he has a heart of gold. Kinda reminds me of Meleodis in a weird way actually.

Saphentite is a lamia and lamia if I remember correctly either always give birth to females or rarely give birth to males (I'm not sure if they lay eggs so I'm using birth to better describe it) so when a female finds a male she's attracted to she tends to become territorial of said male

@@ChaiGptea1010 basically the way gills are designed means that they need water being pushed through them to allow for the fish to be breath, this is similar to how humans need to have air pushed into the lungs to be able to breath, but unlike humans who have the diaphragm to drag in the air by contracting, the fishes don't, so they have to swim to force the water through the gills to be able to breathe.
As such, if a fish isn't able to swim (regardless of the reason) it will straight up just suffocate and die
