Yes. Both the guitarist and the bassist used to be members of Heaven's Gate. Sascha Paeth (guit) produced most of the Avantasia albums and the last two Edguy albums. Robert Hunecke (bass) also was part of Heaven's Gate. You should probably check out "Aina" - a 2004 metal opera with Thomas Rettke, Roy Khan, Tobi Sammet etc. Cheers!
+Lucho Jesús he's actually aged really well. You have to know that a human voice declines with time. Noone can sing as well in their 40s or 50s as they did when they were teen or in their 20s. It's natural. Enjoy it while you can :) Besides, Ghostlights seems to be a very promising album :D
+blazejecar Michael Kiske still has pretty much the same voice he did as good younger self. Tobias Sammet used to be the perfect Kiske clone, but now he sounds very different and can't sing high anymore.
Nick Gaspar sammet doesn't sing right, even in his old stuff you could tell he oversang too much and didn't sing in a very healthy way. his decline was a matter of time
