Not to take anything away from the Automatic DSG, which I hear is amazing, but it’s refreshing to see a modded/tuned GTI 7 or newer on TH-cam that’s a Manual. I have a Mk7.5 Manual, and I absolutely love it. I’m afraid that if I ever went with the DSG option that I’d eventually get bored of driving it around and not even bother with the paddle shifters. Nice video btw. Car sounds amazing and the acceleration looks like so much fun.

I too have a MK7 ('17) GTI manual with a stage-1+ tune from Unitronic. DKM stage-2 clutch. As you can see - stupid quick and a freakin' blast to drive. Born to run the twistys!
@Calvin Li understood. Seems to be the issue. I'm in hopes that your clutch holds up even in stock form. Some do, mine didn't, so that's when I decided that one deserved the other. Certainly nothing wrong with a GTI in stock form! Keep'er between the lines brothah!

Ciao, grazie per il consiglio infatti avevo già in mente di fare sia l’ intercooler e anche una bella aspirazione completa, in questo video la frizione è originale e slitta peró negli altri video che trovi nel canale monto giá quella rinforzata, la frizione originale è debole se sali con la potenza devi mettere in preventivo di sostituirla, poi dipende anche da come è spalmata la coppia..

For tyre summer i have oz ultraleggera but 235/40/18 They are not approved in the booklet so i cant mount, yes when i will change the tyre i want try michelin ps4
@@carsgti3481 Get the Pilot Sport 4S instead of just the 4. The 4S is aviable in 235/40/18 and is even better than just the 4 in the dry and still rather decent in the wet.

Si, so che la 245 ha la frizione un po’ più robusta rispetto alla 230, Peró secondo me se inizi ad andare su con i cavalli meglio rinforzarla che per altro ti aiuta anche a fare cambi di marcia più veloci, io sono pienamente soddisfatto, la cosa negativa è che costa abbastanza
@@carsgti3481 Very nice. The stock clutch doesn't like anything over stock lol. I've done a few small mods to mine, turbo inlet, turbo muffler delete. I also have a FMIC with boost pipes waiting to go in. I really don't want the clutch to be stressed. The clutch kits for these cars are $$$$$$$!!! So I'm going to hold off.

@@mrigetsbuckets-5902 you would think that front wheel drive don’t wheel spin a lot because it rarely has above 300 bhp but if it was common for front wheel drive above 300bhp it would be so undrivable it’s insane that’s why there never over 300bhp so at high bhp rwd is way more stable you can actually control the power but in front wheel drive there’s a limit to how much horsepower you can have

Mini Cooper also have it, does the gti have it?

I have 15’ gti performance pack dsg and i have ecu tune. In dyno my car had 236kw/320hp and 442nm. It has some traction issues, but not too bad😀
