    My thingiverse designs www.thingivers...
    Used my Creality CR-10S 3D printer and Fusion 360 to remix files on Thingiverse. Made a few variations of custom bins for Milwaukee Low Profile Packout.

    With the price of 3d printers now and websites like thingaverse, it really is starting to make alot of sense to purchase one if your a hardcore DIYer. So many ways it can help around the shop and home!

    Brand new here. I saw which printer you use. How much PLA does it take to make one of the small square black bins? How long using your printer?

    Hi,
    Enjoy the video? My question to you is I don’t want to spend a fortune on a 3D printer. What do you recommend to make things like the storage bins? Thanks again keep the ideas coming.

    So glad people are into packout like I am 😂 do your files have the cutout/ledge on the lip for hanging like the Milwaukee ones do?

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that lip is not on these.

    I just found this video on TH-cam. New subscriber great ideas I use the DeWalt tstak. I just can't see paying $8 for being to put $3 with the screws in it this time, but it is a great idea. I don't use it enough to justify purchasing a 3D printer. But hey, what the hell I'm retired ain't got nothing else to do. New technology. I'll try it.

    I know this might not be the place to ask this, but I was wondering if you or anyone out there would be willing to design and 3d print something for me. I'd pay for your time and materials. I'm working on new elements for my computerized Christmas Light show. Specifically, I'm building what I'm referring to as "snow globes". I bought some 8" wide "fish bowls" basically with a 4" opening at the base. I built wood structures to serve as the bases for these globes. It works, but it feels kinda sloppy. I feel like I could actually get some decent weatherproofing and a way nicer look if I could have something made of plastic designed specifically for this purpose. I have zero experience in 3d printing or designing, but I feel like this would not be a crazy complicated design as there would not be all that much to it.
    I live in the Milwaukee area and would love to work with someone if they're willing! I can send some pics and give more of an explanation if anyone is interested. Thanks!

    Please could you do one with just one divider in the middle I’ve been on your thingiverse and tried to edit the three compartment ones to make it a two compartment one but I’m struggling

      bzeug thanks, could I use these dimensions to fit in the normal organisers by just changing the height?

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheLukebadger1 Yes. I also own the taller profile packout but have been reluctant to make these bins for that because I'm thinking the smaller the compartments and the taller they are the harder it will be to get the small items out. If you do make the taller version of these please post them as a remix on thingiverse. If you post a link here that would be even better!

    What's the best plastic for the bins?

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm new to 3D printing and have only used PLA so far. I'm sure there are superior options, but the PLA printed bins are strong and durable enough for my purposes.

    Brian, can you make the 6 and 4 bin in the 100 x 200 size ?

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been meaning to do that, but just haven't got those files made up in fusion yet. Maybe check on thingiverse and see if Benjamin has done anything with the 100x200 yet.

      I checked and he said he was not sure if he was going to do them, I have tried but can’t do it. Trying to get them to use in race trailer for upcoming season.

    3D printing is incredibly expensive, to order these products by sending their (from bzeug and others from Thingiverse) plans to a printer. Get a Dremel, order some 5mm rigid plastic sheets, then copy existing dividers, make more, and smaller divisions (glue when needed)
