I don’t have room for bins in my craft room/guest room…I have a Lavinia binder and I’m thinking I can do this, punch holes in it and put in my binder because those inserts get expensive! :)

Hi Heidi! I have a similar system! But I like your idea of putting the stamps on a laminated sheet instead of the sheet they come on. I also get similar envelopes from Amazon. And no-name label tape. I have a "brother" brand labeler and the brand name label tapes are an absolutely ridiculous price!!!
We gotta shop about havnt we. There isn't anything wrong with buying cheaper if they work x

Great idea to store the stamps.
Mine are just in the bag where you buy them,but it is not a great way for storage.

Laminaters are so cheap...ya don't need a fancy one. The pouches ya can pick up in lots of places cheap as well x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter don't know if these stores are in the UK,but I saw one in the Action shop very cheap and they sell also the pouches so will go the shop this week.

Heidi, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind talking about the new Lavinia stamps that you yourself are ordering. I placed my pre-order and found myself thinking I wonder what Heidi is getting! lol I think it would be fun to hear your thoughts on the stamps/products and maybe some early ideas on how you will use them.
I have absolutely no idea what I am gunna do yet. I always do a video of the new release so as soon as I get it....so I will let ya know what o think when I have it in my hand x

I laminate my DP like that (back to back and cut open) to cover notebooks that are going to get a LOT of wear - that going my purse or my bag - or other 3D items I make. It makes them so much more durable.TFS.
It's can be used for so much can't it x
I’ve been using those plastic storage bags for years for my dies. I put my dies in an envelope and put the envelope into a storage pockets you’re idea is wonderful as it’s storage & a cheaper way of storing them on the laminated sheets, I’d bought the acertate to stick my stamps on but I find it has very sharp edges once cut your idea of sticking them onto laminated copy paper is a much more practical way of storing them & cheaper.
My Lavinia cellophane bags are just starting to tear at times and I was trying to work out how to store them.
So thank you for showing me how you do yours and I’ll definitely be doing mine the same way as you do.
Much easier to watch you do it & explain as you go as well, I laminate my bookmarks I make so understand what & why you were doing everything that way.
You’ve solved my stamp storage problem though Heidi I’m so grateful for your tutorial on this & showing us all.
Thank you for such a perfect tutorial and explanation of how you made the pocket and how you store and name your stamps in the storage pocket.
I also stamp the image on the back of my copy paper so I know the size of the images once stamped as it helps with designing my cards. Have a wonderful week see you in the Lavinia group & thank you again for your educational tutorial.

Thanks for sharing! I'm always looking for better ways to organize my items. Quick Tip: When laminating multiple sheets in one laminating pouch, use a glue stick to secure the sheets. The glue will melt and disappear once it's heated.

By the way, how do you get the stamped image on the plastic? Is it just acetate? It’s just some looked unused.
@deborahtovey7918 it's the acetate that comes with ya stamp image already on. Some I cut down and some I don't bother x

I wish I had seen this earlier. I sat for 3 days putting all my Lavinia stamps into a folder, stuck to sheets. Then realised I couldn't see the image 🤔. I have lots of other stamps so I will arrange them like you have. Did you say you did the same with dies ?💟
Yes all my stamps and dies are set up like this . If I have a set that has bothe stamps and dies I put stamps in front and dies in back x
Thank you Heidi! Do you glue the stamped image before you stick them on the cardstock? I like to use mine on my cards to see how my stamps will look before I stamp on it.thank you :)
I fix mine down so they can't be moved . Just don't stick yours down if you need to use them. I never use mine over my work so it's easy for me to stick em down xxx

No ...the pic goes on the front so you know what's in the back x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter isn’t there two pieces of laminated paper and card in each envelope. One with stamps and one for picture?
@pmacorky no plain card in front with picture and laminated one in back with stamps. You could put both pieces laminated if you want but that's more expensive x

I bought mine from amazon .....they come in 3 sizes....you want size LARGE . They are avert elle storage pouches x

I'm sorry I'm so confused on how you make a pocket for storing stamps. I watched a couple of times and I'm confused lol So when you laminate with the paper inside does it seal the whole paper that's inside? I just don't understand how you make pockets. I'm sorry it's just me I guess.
I buy the pockets already made. When I laminate the 2 pieces of paper together and then cut round the edges only 1 side ends up being laminated and that is what the stamps go on x
