- Khiva (in today's Uzbekistan) was an ancient trading post/oasis on the Silk Road. The inner town of the old Khiva oasis - Itchan Kala - is encircled by walls up to 10 m/33 ft high, dating from the 10th century. It is site of many amazing architectural ensembles. Itchan Kala is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Interesting footage here, the architecture is unusual, the tiled minarets are impressive structures. You certainly are getting around, I have not seen footage from Uzbekistan before. Great stuff as usual.
