UPDATED NOTE: Luci from SMG responded to me and let me know that a backend developer has confirmed that this is a known rare bug that can happen with the last card in the deck getting sent out multiple times. She said it's already been fixed in the next release but we may still see it present in the live version of the game.
Previous Note: Both Hokaras and myself tested the small map card thing in pass & play and we were locked out from getting cards after 23 on this map. So whatever happened here was either a bug or someone hacked the game, but I’d personally lean more bug.
Did you have 6 players in your testing? Is it maybe player count based now? Super strange game because of it.
@@ChandlsdYes we both had a full six players. Tried asking a contact at SMG but haven’t heard anything.
@@C_money it's pretty cool seeing things like this happen (game bugging out like this / a cheater in the game, it's always fun to watch and see the reactions.
Were you on progressive caps? cause I could see this being intentional but only in certain game modes. Like progressive has extra cards, fixed doesn't as an example (or similar for caps if that was the cause)
@@sovietsupporter3828 The pass & play I replicated was the exact same settings as this video.
Not sure if you catch it later in the video but there was two Gulbringe Syssel cards in your hand during your card trade at 10:30. They must have started duplication of cards to keep the choke from happening.
I didn’t catch that! Thanks for pointing it out. I’m not sure if that makes me think someone did cheat or if it was still a bug, but interesting to see proof that the game was a bit messed up there.
@@C_moneyit’s unclear why you are discarding “they fixed the game” as a possibility. This was a long overdue change.
@@stevefeak5696 hard disagree. The point of small maps is to have this kind of card lock as a possibility.
@@stevefeak5696 since it’s unclear, I have contacts at SMG who likely would have mentioned it and also SMG is a very small dev team who is fully focused on their network update, I truly don’t think they have the time to even consider changing something like that. All of that plus the fact that not everyone sees this as something that needs “fixing”.

Wow interesting game gg, I wonder if they made it so the cards duplicate themselves to be enough for small maps, as you had five cards and it only showed 4 territory cards you had?

Probably for certain modes, but honestly, I think most of the real small ones (Iceland, Britannia, Simple World) are really just meant to be 1v1 maps.
I had an EU advance game last night that had 2 people capped on Iceland which made Iceland more interesting than this map. lol GG sir.

@@kevinflowers5060 The wildcards, jokers, whatever people want to call them are the two cards that have the picture of all three card types (artillery, infantry, cavalry) on them. They can act as any one of those three card types.
