Quarry can be a tough lake but can get absurdly hot in a matter of minutes. I tried trolling crankbaits and spoons for an hour last month from my kayak at 9 am with zero luck. Then around 10 am I dropped anchor and threw out mice tails and pulled in 5 trout in 30 minutes. I must have come upon a school and they kept hammering the mice tail repeatedly.
nice man I've been to quarry like 4 times these past two weeks and only caught 1 lassen, skunked on dfgs. You make it look so easy lol. What weight spoon / jig you use? and what brand if you dont mind?
That day they were really after the spoon some reason later in the day I could get a follow on the jig. But maybe the color or something. 3gram spoon. 1/32 jig.
