@@kc.w9821 I think she originally only signed a 1-year contract, playing for the 2016-2017 season. But afterwards, she extended her contract terms and ended up playing for 3 years in total.
Because professional athletes in China usually have no choice but follow the instruction/command of the authority that administer relevant sport activities, for example the olympic committee or the general administration of sport in China. They ordered her to play in China in the name of a better preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.
