I will say in the past I've had the same problems with Nick's shipping, but my most recent purchase from Nick's came with the boots separated by cardboard structured cardboard which was very effective at keeping the boots from moving around
@ im in the middle of ordering my boots from. Them. I’ve contacted them thru insta and they’ve been quick to respond. For example i asked about there dress boot, thats in a D width. And they offered to make it in an E width for me.
Wasn’t aware of this brand, but new ones are coming out all the time. Looks like a clean boot, the welt stitching looks great. I’m lucky to be a medium size dude at an 11 Brannok 😂
@@Brajin1 ya even if you wear an 11.5 Nike, you probably should order their largest size of 45. My 11.5 foot (12 Nike) is hitting the front of the boot. 😔
@@Jackson-T23 definitely check the fit. I’m in a predicament because they don’t even offer larger sizes. So with this boot being slightly short for my foot, I’m SOL.

@@samlaffosse438 not sure I’ve noticed a difference on instep, but I have a normal instep. In theory they could because the whole “horseshoe” leather thing that connects the vamp to the tongue is lower down. My main reason for buying LTT boots is the aesthetic. They look so much different than a classic lace up boot. Had kind of some mountaineering boot vibes to it. This is honestly one of the coolest boots I’ve seen. Sadly the sizing is a little off. It’s weird that they aren’t tight, but are just a little short. Most other boots seem to have toe box pinch on sides before your toes can even hit the front.
The CXL I got on mine is thick and was clicked well a lot better than some more expensive boots that I have. The build quality is great. I'm having a pair of monkey's built now with Dublin leather and the cats paw/ biltrite soul.

I measured the footbed and it is not even close to 11.81” as the website claims it would be. It’s barely 11”. It almost makes me wonder if they accidentally built these on a 44 Last. There are zero markings on inside of boot indicating the size. Just the box. I emailed Jimmy asking if they can do a 46, since these are short and their site only goes up to 45.
@EDHBlvd that's strange mate as both my pairs fit well. I'm a 10.5D and they sized me in a 43. My first pair has zero markings but the new ones have model and size hand written. You could be right and they built the wrong size.
I believe that would be real bison, but water buffalo bison rather than rare American buffalo bison. Especially because it is more common for asian leaders to be water buffalo then cow leather as they have them as usual animal to farm rather than cows. What you are referring to is shrunken bison leather. If it was processed/ dried on glass it looks like regular stearhide but with somewhat different hair pores and brake.

@ well naming stuff is the thing i wouldn’t get in to as Horween kudu is cow and calf is cow or a young cow nothing like European calf in structure and so on. For that info maybe you want to shoot the a email. But American bison is usually the one from western movies, almost extinct one (for now i only know of Himel bros using it, probably there is more). If it says buffalo or bison only in most of the cases it comes from asian water buffalo that is common as the cow is in the west
@ the USA has some laws against killing younger calf’s I think. Veal isn’t popular here either. So that could be why it’s hard to get calf hides to make calfskin in the USA. Similar how it’s illegal to eat horse meat here. So much less horse hides to source from the USA. I don’t hear many people calling American bison “buffalo” anymore. That seems to have been corrected as they were never buffalo, and it was a misnomer. It definitely was something people said more in our past.

I'm considering buying this exact boot on the hatchgrain pattern. I've got a pair of their Ironclad coming. I'll wait to see how they fit first.

It probably is Bison just not Shrunken Bison from Law Tanning in Milwaukee.

@ ya I mentioned thinking it was a texture stamped into it. So maybe it’s both Horween and not as authentic as stuff like shrunken bison.
