5:25 wait until you hear Matt do a Gregorian chant, or whistle an intro, or stop in the middle of a rock song to do a Rachmaninoff cover, or quote Shakespeare or finish an album with a three part symphony. They're quite versatile.
The guitar effect you mentioned in the 2nd half of the song is the "reverse" effect. Whatever you play is fed through the pedal and the sound is played in reverse. There's a delay on the effect so it's incredibly difficult to make sound good.
I really miss Muse concerts!! 😭😭 I remember trying to get tickets for that concert, waiting for 10 am after class to buy them and it sold out in seconds. I cried!!! I am still not over it. Lmaoo They’re amazing live!!
I'm already late watching this video, but for sure, muse often improvise at the ending of the song they play at a live concert, and that's what the fans love.
Their live shows are so much fun. I did alot of that jumping up and down as did a majority of the audience in Philly at the Electric Factory back in 2006.
Muse have incorporated a lot of musical genrens from classical to rock to metal to grunge to techno and pop and flawlessly incorporated them into their own style. When I hear Muse I hear,Pink Floyd,George Michael,Queen,Chopin,U2 and many more influences but to the point that it's just short of copying them and in a very respectable manner. I think Muse is a formidable band that pays hommage to all of the great musicians that came before them and have found a way to share all of those influences with the later generations. Besides all of that they are a band that carry out a strong, empathic, message to make people think about the world we live in. They are i.m.o. bringers of awakeness. P.s.English is not my first language,I hope this makes any sense to anybody out there, peace.
just imagine legend has it one sunny day in the land of legend in the west country Bristol, three guys met up for a coffee in a Cafe. a little while later the three guys walked out reborn as one called muse life on this planet was never the same
This is the first song i ever heard from Muse at the time of the Black holes and revelations album, its my all time favorite along with Map of the problematique, i traveled to London O2 arena from Finland to watch them, best decision i ever made.
yo i’m not much into reaction videos but as a massive muse fan i find myself addicted to your muse reactions 🤩 they’re so great right! and you guys too, cheers, love the energy
@@FeelMyFerret Actually, there's an extended version of the studio version of Assassin and that part they played at the end is in the middle of that version and it has lyrics.
How about the Roman Emperor of Muse? I second his feelings, your youth, vitality and positivity are helping me through a very difficult period. You have introduced me to many bands and genres that I would never have found on my own and I look forward to your reactions.
Id like to see you do slipknot live orphan the drum cam of Jay Weinberg. He is completely relentless on those drums. I've never seen anything like it. It's for real INSANE unbelievable. Please do a review.
if you haven't listened to Gojira yet, you're really missing out on the best metal band to ever exist IMO. I recommend you skip all the songs that you have in your bucket list and go straight to Gojira. They're the gold standard of metal music.
This is a great song but the difference in the vocals and the rocken sound was too noticeable. I would like to hear a few different people sing this with different styles.

Reapers. From same concert. You are welcome
YES. PLEASE.
Yes!! 🤘
Definitely!
YESSSSS
The video will probably be taken down for copyright. For some reason nearly all songs from Drones have this probelm on TH-cam.
Love muse and they are from my part of the world in the West Country of the England🤘❤️
You'd love 'Deadstar' by Muse, seriously.
Studio version. Not heard a live rendition that beats it. Epic track.
Muse is the best live concerts I've been too. I never heard of them and went to a concert. I was crying they were so good

They have covered it already.
@@islandlife3315 you know whats worse, ive watched them covering it before haha

Damn I was too young for that one I’m super jealous! I caught them at Festival pier in Philly the following year though 🤟🏻

I love seeing these reactions to Muse. My fav band
I took my then 14 year old son to this show. What an amazing, small venue to see such an incredible band.
One of the last true arena rock bands.
You should do Map of the Problematique at Wembley 2007 with the most unique effect on the guitare !
Muse live is fire🔥🔥
Pure fire!!
It's one of those ...it's ooover!!! ... kind of songs. Don't forget Dom Howard's kick-drum - he's a bit under-appreciated sometimes.
Psycho live Drones World Tour
just imagine legend has it one sunny day in the land of legend in the west country Bristol, three guys met up for a coffee in a Cafe. a little while later the three guys walked out reborn as one called muse life on this planet was never the same

@@liammccarthy3193 thank you very much!!!
Muse is awesome, i've seen them three times now. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great track. And nothing like another improv Muse jam to finish it off.
This should be the album version. It beats the original studio track.
I just wonder, no one band like Muse again in this era... so sad... Muse never die
@@FeelMyFerret Actually, there's an extended version of the studio version of Assassin and that part they played at the end is in the middle of that version and it has lyrics.

Are they ready for Le Zinth Microcuts?
Songs like these make me want a Muse & Mick Gordon collab…I feel like they could make something absolutely amazing together!
You guys need to do Micro Cuts from Origin of Symmerty. The vocals will blow you away!
Don't quote me on this, but i thought i read or saw an interview that Dave Grohl said "Muse could make music from utensils".

Knights Of Cydonia

I know what Muse can't do... they can't not sound like Radiohead
not sure how you can listen to this song and relate it to Radiohead...
Maybe your ears have some kind of problem. Do you hear Radiohead in that song? Or it's a sin that Matt was born with that kind of voice?

Sure. In the same way that ones parents are similar to another's.
