AMD has already overcome the period of bad drives, its cards are heating up less and this 7600 is clearly superior to the 3060, however even though it is of lower value why don't I sell more than the 3060?
You guys may like the RX6600, but I own it and I don't like it at all. The performance is horrendous in some games, and the main culprit in performance issues is AMD drivers. The last (somewhat) stable driver was 22.5.1 for me. All the new drivers are causing stutters in a lot of games. It will run properly for about 70/80% of games. The games I am having issues at the moment are: Stalker (Anomaly mod, this worked on 22.5.1 with small stutters, newer drivers are unplayable with constant stutters), Darkest Dungeon (literally unplayable above 22.5.1, the game will run at 10 fps if you don't have 22.5.1 or previous), Dishonored 2 (extreme tearing and weird stutter, but this might be due to horrible game engine), Nier Replicant (barely 30 fps and stutter, changing settings does nothing and it is unplayable), Team fortress 2 (stuttering and barely hitting 120 fps...???), SIFU (works decently on 22.5.1, newer drivers constantly stuttering). I don't remember what else I've tried, but a lot of other games were decent. That is before 23.4.3. The 23.4.3 drivers (latest up to recently) were stuttering on every game I've tried. AMD is horrible with drivers, and every driver update I read has new issues introduced along the one they fix. Stay away from their GPU's.
I own a 6650XT. Had no problems with it whatsoever and drivers have always been perfect (always up to date with drivers, never had to roll back). It's either a problem on your end (faulty components/ subpar cpu, stuff like that) or the game's end. I've been playing cyberpunk 2077, assassin's creed odyssey, ratchet and clank rift apart and spiderman miles morales for the past weeks and they were always smooth as butter. AMD does fuck up with their drivers sometimes, I agree, but NVIDIA is so much worse. Just search up "Microsoft sues NVIDIA for driver stability on Vista". Last time I checked AMD was never sued for having drivers so shitty customers would constantly call Microsoft to bitch about it and blame Windows, but oh well.

I have a 6800xt for 100$ cheaper than 4070. I play at 1440p 100+fps and you tell me 3060 is a good card for having dlss and RT? It is not worth paying extra 100-200$ for cards that have RT (barely noticeable reflections) that kill your fps by 60%. So a company can justify why a cards kills half its performance for a 1 feature that is barely noticeable? Let that sink in Also thank god AMD have it’s better gpu counterparts for the price. If experimenting with RT is still the argument? Then I can argue I can still play RT titles at 1440p 40+fps (interesting fps for AMD card with RT for experimental purposes don’t you think?) The real competition should be 6600 XT vs RTX 3060, which AMD butchered 3060 with higher FPS at lower power consumption, and still cheaper. But if you want even more cheaper card, RX6600 is good choice if you don't mind slight lower performance. Either way, 3060 looks overpriced from what it offers in this match up.... Not the best FPS, not the lowest power consumption, and not the cheapest too... So why people still buy it? Just because it's Nvidia of course....
People purchase GPUs not only for gaming but also for productivity tasks such as rendering, Blender, Adobe software, and more. According to this perspective, NVIDIA's RTX series offers the best value for these categories. If your focus is primarily on gaming, the recommendation is to consider the RX 6600 or RX 6600 XT from AMD. The argument here challenges the influence of mainstream GPU reviewers, suggesting that they tend to concentrate solely on gaming benchmarks, which might not accurately represent a GPU's overall performance across various applications.
@@PAA1433 i agree and i have been saying for long time, Nvidia is good for productivity and creative software. That's true. @@shunae86 I wouldn't label it as a minority. Many individuals all over the world utilize Nvidia for productivity and work-related tasks. RX 6600 can run the witcher 3 1080p with 60 fps on ultra+, might get a fps drop in that novigrad part where dwarves are workign the fields but for most part it runs.
You just have to use the 4.00 version by Razor
the witcher 3 npcs in the backgrounds in novigrads and settlements are cpu intensive that my ryzen 5 2600 was unable to keep up with the load it keeps dipping betweeen 60+ to 80+ fps it's actually distracting. Recommend to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5000 series so that you wouldn't lose core and thread usage due to bottleneck, i even recommend a decent 400 motherboard at least to take advantage of SAM or resizeable bar since my A320m Asrock doesn't support it for better cpu load. Planning to upgrade my mobo, ram and storage drive and monitor to 1080p (ive been playing on 768p for the past 3 years it sucks now) to match this gpu performance for 1080p since it runs RE4 remake very good and it mostly stays at 100w usage for the most gpu intensive parts of the game, i even recommend the xt version if you can cough up a few more money for like 20 more fps and even undervolt and overclock it for extra frames. Overall AMD did a great job with the rx 6000 series and the drivers are phenomenal overtime it turns into fine wine, don't forget that older amd gpus especially have a community-modded gpu drivers since amd discontinued for R9 and R7 models.

They fixed darkest dungeon issue in the new update
Stalker stutters on every GPU no matter if You have nGreedia or Advanced Malfunctioning Drivers...
Nvidia has stagnant drivers and you are often forced to roll them back to a previous version just to maintain the same amount of performance lol.
Steam users, commonly known as PC gamers, prefer Nvidia GPUs because they want the best. If cost is not a concern on gaming purposes, Nvidia GPUs are superior. The GTX 4090 outperforms the RX 7900 XT GPU by approximately 70%, more or less.
Unfortunately, I had to return my RX 6600 and exchange it for the RTX 3060 12gb OC edition, priced at $260, due to its slightly or better superior gaming performance (RT and DLSS) and better at productivity. This is crucial for me as I edit 360-degree videos as a hobby.
@@PAA1433 did you bring that statistic about the xtx out of your ass ? WTF nvidia....Do better...are you serious
try 2x16 gb ramsticks, stick it in 2nd and fourth slots, not 4x8
In games like hogwarts legacy rtx 3060 12gb is better option because this game use more than 8gb of vram
40 to 50 FPS in The Last of Us is not playable at all.
у его 6600 почему то частоты не бустятся, моя 6600 игл в форзе 89 фпс в бенчмарке показала
FHD1920×1080だったら
この3つはリーズナブルで実用的な選択だろう
What card is better for 1440p or even 4k at medium settings as I don't really care about fps I'm more of a graphics detail nerd 😂😂
RTX 4070 super for 1440p, RTX 4080 and beyond for 4k
@@Mat69420k that's overkill,I'm currently playing 1440p and 4k on my rx 6600 xt medium to high settings depending on what game I play
@@CuriousGamer022 I'm saying what's ideal, if want to I can play 1440p with integrated graphics but I'm not getting that many FPS, and sure AMD cards are for price to performance, but DLSS is better so you do you, I prefer DLSS and get double the performance, truth is 4070 is a 1440p card, 4080 and beyond is 4k, if you to play max setting 1440p 4070 is the choice, also goes for the 4080 and beyond
@@CuriousGamer022if I were you I wouldn’t upgrade unless it was to a Rx 6800 or a 7900gre that’s like an upgrade to a 3080 and an upgrade to a 4070 super if I’m not mistaken for nearly fraction of the price.
Why don't you guys play esports games like valorant cs2 apex raindow six
10 > 3 a win for amd
wow wth all of these are soo good what with my pc i can barely run any of these games with 10 fps
Rtx 3060 solos.
AVG FSP On screen! 🧐
Almost perfect but 6600xt's vram is a deal breaker.
It's going to be dead in a few years
Exactly, this is why I recommend a 4090. if you can't afford to spend on quality products stick to something like a 5600g
@@dagothodros641 yeah and stick it up your ass
In few years you gonna need new card anyway
a rx 6700xt costs the same as 3060 where I live, 12GB of ram as well yet way more performance. The RX 6600 is a midrange gpu anyways, of course it's gonna die in like 5 years.
same fps some games??? i dont think so
Here im Brazil rtx3060 is cheaper
now the real question ^^ how can i uncap the fps in elden ring? D: ^^
Use flawless widescreen app.
I get the even if the performance is relatively the same but the price is almost completely visible to us that sometimes if we have the money go for that well known brand but if your on a budget but need that same performance with a better price Amd is better. Fsr can use some work and other places but that price for that performance its good, better even but if you have money? The. Go ahead amd get nVidia price to perfornce is just well not feelin right the dlss is the selling point but not allot of people rlly pay attention to it that much neither with fsr.
People already believe in nvida rather than amd
its not about believe
its user experience
if you enjoy gpu driver crash everyday and have to restart pc go amd
I think it's not the full performance of the rx 6600, because the gpu has a max tdp of 140 watts, it seems the limit is only 100 watts
The rx 6000 series only monitors chip wattage. If it monitors the whole gpu wattage it would be around 130-140w on full load.
i dont see any fps.
Wdym you not watch the gameplay? “Real Time FPS” and 1% lows are your basic criteria you’re looking at, the other would be power consumption.
Ray tracing ON please ~
My country rtx 3090 cheap than rx 6800 xt
I thought eldin ring was locked on 60fps!
It is. But you can uncap it using flawless widescreen app
