Youth Song "Step Forward(未来の地図)"- English Ver. (Official Video)

On April 10, 2020, the Soka Gakkai Youth Division launched its first online collaborative project, UTATSUKU (Make a Song), calling all youth and friends from across the world to join in the process of making a shared song.
In response to our call for people’s honest opinions during the “Stay Home” period, we received more than 10,000 comments from around Japan and the globe about what they would like the song to convey to finally release, on May 3.
Our voicing singing together can unite the world as one.
Looking to a brighter future, let’s step forward with hope!

One look at the past and it’s easy to see
We take it for granted, the meaning of free

Living life like we’re the only people in the world
And in turn it made us lose a little bit of soul

The weight of my worries are burdening me
But I won’t give in cause my heart’s leading me
No matter if seasons are losing their glow
We’re calling on the spring to tell the winter to go

But this suffering has brought us all together
All we gotta do is open up a little more
Let’s come together, unity forever
