For everyone wondering: Black Rock Shooter is not an anime(or game for psp) originally atleast. It is a song of vocaloid(don't quote me on vocaloid part though, I remember this part quite vaguely), that's the reason why the lore you may have read differs from source to source(story from game and anime are not even near to close to each other atleast).
@@Shonicheck it's an 8 episode anime, with a 50 minute OVA, two manga (i might be wrong there, i've been told there's two, but i only know of Innocent Soul) and the PSP game. While it's origins by Huke, the artist who created her, are indeed from vocaloid, they are not from a song, but rather a "punk rock" redesign he did of Hatsune Miku, which lead to the eventual creation of BRS. And, to be precise, this version of BRS in the video's image is Insane Black Rock Shooter, who is exclusively from the 8 episode anime, and is not present in the OVA nor the other sources.

That's from a time when many youtubers, especially those whose content is 100% other peoples work, weren't able to edit properly cause good editing programs were neither free nor easily pirated. Good old days.
Nightcore is a form of copyright infringement where you pitch up an existing song in Audacity and pretend it's a cute anime girl singing the song. lol It sounds even worse when the original singer was male. Can't forgive these thieves for ruining Anima Libera
