The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association. Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.[1] Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.
The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the official national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions.

Nishida is an excellent player, and he has a superstar status in the world, Asian and Japanese volleyball. I think his super star status even shadows Ishikawa's status because Yuji is an extremely charismatic player. The world, Asian and Japanese volleyball associations know Yuji's value for the sport, and they are very happy to capitalize on his charisma to make volleyball more popular around the world, and crucially, to sell tickets to the games and promote online merchandise to generate income. Bravo, Yuji!

I really love Japan and they deserve the best cause they're so hard working and really experienced, but I can't handle it when people say their butts were kicked, all of our elder players left and now how can people say such a thing about an 18 year old who just got in the VNL for the first time?
Iranians are taught from childhood that the victory or loss isn't important, the only things that matters in getting to know people from different cultures and learning from them, so we respect Japan and Poland or any other country unlike other who love to see us fail.
