Very good film, well written and acted. Great story and one heck of a twist at the end. The water rights belonged to the state, not Audrey. So all that for nothing? Well, something. Some found it within themselves to do the right thing, to find the courage to do so. And some met an appropriate end. Too bad all stories in life don't end so well. All the actors in this film were A+. I was happy to see James Earl Jones an Bruce Dern doing what they do so well.

This is a movie worth watching. I have never heard of it, but it suprised me. The actors and acting was great and the movie had me on the edge. I believe that this movie is underrated. Cannot believe that it is based on true events.

This was beyond a good film! This was an amazing piece of film art!! The Writing was amazing! the story line did not become complicated and flowed perfectly, the acting was outstanding and to top it off The Director is a master at his craft! The only thing was way off was, the title of this film was wrong! and the promotion didn't happen at all!! Shame on the Producers for not marketing this wonderful film properly and giving it a name we would all remember like "Dead for nothing" or "A mothers secretes" something that invited the viewer to draw into! this was 9 out of 10 for me!!

it was right there number one except the ending creative criticism
It was okay really pretty good. All they had to do was ask.
I know. When the really bad guy was about to kill Audrey and her kid, she announced she had a gun too. She could have easily shot and killed him at the time.
Surprisingly good movie! The best acting was done by the bad guys. Bruce Dern was good as always. well worth watching.

It was a bit drawn out but well worth watching has a great moral story. It's amazing to know did you have to have a near-death experience in order to tell the truth. The truth must be known as it'll set you free. I still recommend watching this. Beware of a mother protecting her child. She can do it and find the strength in herself to achieve by any means. Amen

This is the most intense movie I've ever seen! I hope you have more like this on your channel, DCD. I'm still not totally satisfied though: how could someone make a movie so incredibly intense and it be so disappointingly short? I LOVED IT nontheless.
