Someone should make a game where you own your own home, and can go anywhere and interact with other real players.. like GTA, mixed with Assetto Corsa, it would be amazing
Didn't take long to give me vibes of the good old One Takes by Matt Farah. Really well done video, especially the cinematic shot at 13:04. You can feel the love of cars and simracing in this video, and this is why we love you, Kajot.
Used to ride a Ducati 851 over the same route and into the desert on the other side. Stop at Newcomb's ranch for a burger. Couldn't appreciate the scenery because I was so focused on the turns.
The sound is a bit off, and, the external sounds in this game are just awful, I mean, watch the first 35 seconds of the video, no fading of sound, no bouncing, reflection or resonance of the sound. No environment sounds. It feels really bland. It doesn't make this track any less incredible though, I have no doubt in my mind that this is an amazing track mod. Maybe we will see an improved sound scape mod in the future.
@@longnamedude3947 Forza doesn't have a fading off sound either, but I edit it in using the pan volume feature. Most games that don't have proper replay cams don't keep track of where the audio is coming from, can be fixed in editing though.

xxtravisxxify na your accustomed to old school arcade games! Real performance cars and race cars don’t give you that constant annoying tire screeching sounds ! That’s why this game is a proper simulator my guy this is not need for speed or forza
@@hippo4g93 Totally depends. When I went to the track and still had roadgoing tire pressures, it screeched like a mf, even just before understeer. This could also be because of the V-pattern tread that tire had, idk. But they were the sportier type of summer tires, just a step under road legal semi-slick.
koenigscat u should try fiddling with your toe caster and camber ! Those Toyo street strip and slicks don’t screech specially a properly tuned suspense and I guess this is what the game/simulator is about ! Try higher pressures on your tires as well
@@hippo4g93 I had the car just aligned and some extra static negative camber (to compensate for the more positive dynamic camber because of lowering). But my tire pressures were really high (like 2.5 bar cold, which is REALLY high) because I forgot to adjust them after having the tires installed. My current car and setup doensn't really screech, just a rubbing sound.
@@hippo4g93 watch this: th-cam.com/video/OSMCfPASImQ/w-d-xo.html This is a RUF CTR, which is based on a 1987 Porsche 911. While a 1989 version of a 911(I think it's a 1989 964, I may be wrong) is shown in the video it is still pretty close so yeah...it absolutely should SCREECH during cornering.
This video makes me want to get into sim racing SOOO badly. I just bought asseto Corsa and I'm now trying to find a decent used low cost sim wheel like the driving force GT or a g27 or g25
Kenneth Dike Hey man, I recommend getting a used thrustmaster T300RS. From my experience with several friends’ setups, we found Logitech wheels generally have force feedback problems only when using with Assetto Corsa. It’s extremely difficult to correct for oversteer and such in this game using some Logitech models, while they work normally in other simulation games such as RF2.
Wow man! Just wow! What a fantastically cool video! And, you showcase my 2 favourite mods! Thanks Kajot2111. That was a really enjoyable ride. Thanks for sharing it with us - it was a pleasure to ride along with you. Would strap in again!
Lol it starts near my friends house on Greenridge Dr & Angeles Crest Hwy. Everything is really accurate (turn-offs, signs, passing lanes, parking lot at Red Box, etc) the only thing is there aren’t that many palm trees 😂 I live a couple streets down with a ‘94 964 Turbo and ‘91 Miata. Love this route 👌🏼
At 4:48 I thought, 'oh that's cool, he's spliced in some real life footage from Matt Farah' - but no, that's still in game! Incredible! Phoenix is a god damn hero!
U handled that car perfectly.. Porsches are some of the hardest cars to catch when loosing traction! The old ones the new ones are too easy. And u drove it many times on the edge of traction loss
Drive ACH every Sunday morning. Breakfast at Newcomb. But usually will take Upper big Tejunga back. This is so realistic that even features many drivers who don’t/won’t use turn-out. Lol what would be even more realistic would be the many cyclists blocking the roads.
Plus I think you have to purchase it as a PLATINUM OPTION?. I don't think you automatically get it in the free version... (It will tell you when it is released on the 2nd of the 2nd)
I hope the next big thing in car games will be a game like AC with maybe slightly better graphics, same physics, large free roads to race like in Test Drive Unlimited, maybe interaction with the car like changing comfort to race mode etz. And last but not least, buying properties 😊
Are all the shots you got built into Assetto Corsa (if yes then do you have to record them separately and piece them together) or is it just a mod and very good editing

yess!!! he included the links to the mods. now i can do this too. wicked. i always get jealous watching these vids. it looks sooo good. but i can never seem to find these tracks/ mods. what about the graphics mod though? or is this vanilla assetto corsa?
My advice: take a fresh install of ac, then get CM (content manager) to manage your add-ons and gain a ton of new features. Then get SOL (at race department website) and install together with the Custom shader patch as well. All this together will change your game to a new level. Is that v6???
You won't hear pure engine sounds anymore like this when EVs become mainstream
We need more content!
We need a Matt Farrah driver model for Assetto Corsa
For those that don't know , this is like a 1 million dollar singer Porsche with an engine designed by the Williams F1 team specifically for this car
