a lot of talk with no actual definite proof in the scripture or any supportive scripture for the claim Peter had primacy over the other apostles. no show of authority no one subjecting themselves to his authority no one mentioning him as the head of the church. there is literally nothing in the Bible that proves states clarifies or implies that Peter was in any way over the other apostles and in turn the first pope. there is nothing other the the INTERPRETATION of a scripture to mean such. let's not forget the "keys" that Jesus gave to Peter He gave those same "keys" to the rest of the apostles. we are the body of the church, Christ is the head of the church. the real church that is the body of believers in Him. the pope is the head of an institution that is the Roman Catholic church. the pope has been called God on earth how is that not blasphemy. they wanted to kill Jesus cause he said he was God... And he really was. So what does that say for the pope?
Matt 16:17-19 Christ give Peter the keys and addresses him 7 times in it. Peter is mentioned 195 times. Always mentioned first. Gives the first sermon in acts. Miracle in acts. Settles the first council. Etc etc you have to do violence to the scripture to believe what you wrote

All of the apostles were given the same mission to spread the good news, just as Aaron was a priest just like Moses, but it was Moses that was singled out. Peter was singled out. It is not like Moses actually wrote all of the pentateuch, although he was given credit for it. In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul talks about Spiritual gifts. Perhaps you should ponder that when it comes down to the first bishop of Rome.
Vanessa's Daily Journal first Moses was not a priest he was a prophet. Moses was not singled out as there was no one with him when God spoke to him from the burning bush. Moses was chosen by God...and long before Moses himself knew it is might add. secondly what does spiritual gifts have to do with anything in this situation
