I went to a Baptist Church and the Sunday School Teacher ( Asst. This is after school programs. Not IN SCHOOL programs. The Satanic Temple just asks that if you are allowign Christian after school programs (like "Good News") to use school facilities, then they should be allowed to use them too. First of all it is not the job of the school to teach our children about God. It is the parents job. I taught my children about God from the age of 5 until they became adults and now are able to decide on their own what they wanted to believe and how they wanted to live. When they became adults if Satan is who they wanted to serve, they can, but not in my house. So to keep Satan out of schools ever religion should be put out. @LINDA JONES The problem is that Christian groups have been allowed to have after school groups for decades. Why are you not upset about Christian based after school clubs? If one religion gets to have clubs then all other religions need to have access to the same rights and privileges. Would be better off not having any religious based activities in public schools, but because that is not happening all religions should have the option to have similar clubs that Christian groups do.

People know you by the name you carry. Realistically speaking, your name doesn't have to define who you are, yes, but names actually do matter in life. I personally wouldn't even want to be labeled as a Christian if the religion carried only the name but not the practice of worshiping the Christ. Both the name and the practice matter. If the good news club wasn't already there they wouldn't be pushing for an after school satan club. TST only puts their clubs where there's already religion in a school to provide an alternative. School should educate the standard. Look for signs of abuse in the home and do not get involved in the religion or sexuality of any child. Maybe they could do a 15 min of silence to used as any form of prayer, meditation or whatever you want but silently.

People will judge you based on the name you carry with you, no matter your belief. Atheist, Christian, Satanist, Agnostic, Buddhist, Muslim, etc. All names have labels that people will judge you by. People know you by the name you carry. Realistically speaking, your name doesn't have to define who you are, yes, but names actually do matter in life. I personally wouldn't even want to be labeled as a Christian if the religion carried only the name but not the practice of worshiping the Christ. Both the name and the practice matter. You can't have one without the other without confusion because works is a product of your faith.
I'm sure that there are wonderful people in Satanism. But just based on my experiences in life and personal beliefs, I cannot endorse or condone anything that even the name "Satan" touches. By earthly standards, they are 100% nice people. But by what I believe are heavenly standards, I'm going to judge them and say that what they are doing in their religious aspect of life is wrong, just by giving Satan a platform to be on, even with the claim that they don't worship him. Imagine your child is going to a public school, you work late so you have to enroll them in an afterschool program. Given that a religious group already has clubs, they must either ban both, allow both, or they will face legal consequences.
Christians shave some clubs where they don’t talk religion much. It’s the same as that. Whether they will be discussing religion is irrelevant because you can’t just ban a non religious club because you don’t like them either.
And yes, I’m referring to both the first amendment along with a myriad of cases that have given us precedent to have equal rights to public spaces as any other religious group. There’s probably hundreds of them. It always eventually ends up in our favor as hard as Christians push for a theocratic government where they are privileged over other religions. Unless it is an actual religious school that the parents are aware that they are placing their child in like a Christian or catholic school there is no reason to push such things in a classroom.
That's a shame, how they wanna put Satan in School, they know that stuff would put peer pressure on those children.
