I had no idea they were still touring. Diary is a perfect album and their sound changed my life. Best album to listen to in a car on a long drive on a rainy day. Bless you SDRE!
So happy they are playing Rising Tide and HIFTBSO songs. On their last tour they only did Diary and LP2 songs. The new bassist and guitarist really fill out the sound
Amazing that you recorded the whole concert and that it sounds and looks good. Thank you. It was great to see them play live after so many years. So many memories where SDRE was the soundtrack to my life...

Their sound brings me to nyc's east village, astor place aka The Village..during the 90s..the whole strip was so dark and grungy full of skinheads, scary big colored mohawks makin faces at me at 4 n 5 yrs old, spikey leather vests, squatters wit their pitbulls everywhere..from astor to tomkins square park..as a kid it was a kinda scary but man what a golden era in nyc now gone...Circles makes me think of them, but alone by fdr drive waterfront thinkin of someone who they lost to the same habits that're consuming them.
Nice work! I was so stoked to finally see them live, they'd been a favorite of mine since highschool but I never got to see them in between break-ups (though I did catch The Fire Theft when they came to Boston in '04). Really love the live arrangement of The Rising Tide, I first heard that song on a bus ride along the coast of Waterford, Ireland on a rainy day when the sun broke free and lit up the sea and the countryside, rainbow and all. I'll never forget it and hearing it always conjurs up that memory.
thank you so much for recording this whole show....WOW, i would not have wanted to be behind the camera for this, big luv to you and one of my fave bands of all time
Totally got goose flesh listening to this! SDRE, Jeremy, and The Fire Theft were the soundtrack to my early twenties to mid thirties. Thanks for recording this show man!
I saw them back in 2009 and they just played songs from their 2 albums, so it’s nice to hear some songs off their other 2 albums. Thanks for the upload.
In 1998 they came to Tampa and I couldn't go because I was deathly ill. But I thought, I'll see them next time on tour. Womp Womp. So this spring I heard they were touring again. I got my ticket right away. I hadn't been to any concert in 6 years. I didn't look at my email ticket confirmation until the week of the show. Apparently I didn't start a ticketmaster account to fully confirm my purchase and so my ticket was sold to someone else. I was so bummed. But I am thankful for posts of shows like this. Almost as good. I'm so glad they sounded this great still.
@@wishuwerehere I'm old and not very tech savvy and I thought, I just buy the ticket and that's it. I hadn't bought a ticket on line before. I didn't do my due diligence so it's my own fault. Absolutely incredible band. I love their whole discography and am stoked they played such a variety of songs.
They last split in 2010-2011, but reunited last year!
How It Feels… is my favorite. A classic, front to back.

Oh man I’d be devastated if they hadn’t played some of the later stuff. Was really surprised they played “Lipton Witch”
Gotta love songs from Diary live
