wait so in a group order, the person who is doing the actual ordering of the albums, the albums would be under that person's name right? and thus they'd have a higher chance of getting into the fansign as compared to the rest of the people in that group order bcuz they themselves did not order the albums. So to get into a fansign you'd have to host a group order rather than joining someone else's group order, right? Sorry if it's a dumb question

im literally three years late but thank you so much for this video! i think it's the most useful and comprehensove ive ever seen on gos. even though ive been making profit off selling kpop albums ive bought cheaply (good idea for a side hustle btw) for a while, im still relatively new to the trading/collecting world so even after joining a couple gos they still seem kind of intimidating lol. this explained so much that ive been wondering about, hopefully one day i'll be able to hold my own in the future. i need to speak to jungwon before i die so...

Thank u SO MUCH for this video. Sometimes ppl try to gatekeeper information or ways like this when I ask how group orders for done for ppl who tried to get into fan signs or calls 😭 with that being said, can I ask how many albums usually is a safe amount to do a group order to get into a fan call?
no worries! i don't understand why anyone would gate keep info like this. it depends on the artist! the more popular the group/member, the more amount of albums you'll need.

It's a very interesting video. I'd like to host a go so much, I just need to end school and earn my own money first. It's kinda off topic but if I'm not able to have any of all the professions I wanna have, I'd probably open my own store and make go, boxes and everything. It'd be amazing.

I once wanted to join a group order, it was for Got7 album. The cost of the album was if I remember correctly it costed between 12-14$ and when I asked how much will the shipping cost they told me it will cost about 18$ so basically the shipping would be more than the album itself and if my currency would have been in $ it wouldn’t have been much of a problem for me but for my currency at that time I had to multiple the amount for 5.50 and it becomes a lot of money for me. In the end I backed up and didn’t join in any of the group orders since then. I simply buy from internet with my friend so we split the shipment. That way it is more economical for us...

wait I have a dumb question but in a group order when someone has in the description $15 per slot and $13 POB ONLY what does that mean
for the bts love yourself her fansign in 2017 i had to buy 580 albums to get in bc international (korean american). international armies for bts fansigns are korean americans and japanese. korean armies at the time had to buy 100-250 while international armies had to buy 300-600+ (idk now though). you have to buy more albums as an international person bc they think since you can afford to buy all those albums you can afford to go to korea and vice versa. for bts, at that time they were trying to get more americans bc they think americans are rich.
please don't take this as hate towards bts, but to me it sounds like a xenophobic mindset provided by the companies itself

hi randy, so i dont even know if you would have an answer to this but how should i go about talking to a GO manager? i ordered a signed itzy album at the beginning of august (i'm kicking myself in the butt for not ordering from you lol), they just sent out ems at the beginning of janurary and i still havent gotten any updates as far as domestic shipping goes. they will post twitter updates maybe every two weeks but honestly it's nothing but excuses as to why they're not sending things out. i'm not a confrontational person and i have tried to be as patient as possible but it's kind of frustrating that it's been 5 months and i dont have the album. just asking for a little advice. thank you and i love your channel a lot!
I'm not very confrontational either but something to remind yourself is that at the end of the day it's a transaction and you can only be so patient. I'm assuming you didn't pay goods and services? even just a gentle "hey it's been a while is there any updates" to urge the seller might help

So dumb question here but I’ve been thinking about it a lot.. so if you end up buying albums from a group order and you get like 20 albums or something, then you go through each album and find the photocards and any inclusions if there are any right? So then can you take the photocards and inclusions from the albums? And if you do end up doing that, what do you do with the albums themselves? To me, it doesn’t make sense to have multiple of the same album lying around.. but maybe that’s what you’re supposed to do? Do you sell some of the albums with no inclusions and others with inclusions( from the ones that you end up getting doubles?) sorry this is kinda phrased weird and I don’t know how to phrase it another way :(( can someone explain it to me?? Thank youuuu

You could always host your own group orders! I’m sure there’s kpop fans in Ireland/Europe who want albums but shipping can be expensive for them as well.
what groups are you looking for? i’m currently hosting a loona # go for the uk & europe, but most people who host for, say, Italy or France will ship to the whole of Europe! their shipping fees are normally £8 maximum

Not related to GO’s specifically but what option do you use to send a pc tracked internationally for around $4? I’ve always had to pay around $13 to send something tracked 😳

When you talk about getting a Korean address, what do you mean? Is it like a P.O. Box type of thing, and somebody sends your packages out to your home address?
a korean address is supplied through a warehouse, so your address would be the address of the warehouse. in a sense yes it's exactly how you explained it

i was just wondering (kinda a dumb question lol) is there a certain website/seller (i.e. mwave or my music taste) you have to buy the albums from to get into a fansign, or is it any seller?
every fansign will tell you where to purchase your albums from, so you'll need to purchase them for a specific store. not a dumb question at all!
Hi !! How do people include the customs price in the GOs ? or I mean how do customs work with GOs ? Because customs can be a bit high and I don´understand how is that managed. Can you please answer ? hi! i've never experienced customs so I'm not too experienced with it but i notice a lot of international group order managers do. from my understanding you have no control over custom fees and you never really know the amount until you get the bill? you can always disclaim to buyers that there might be a potential customs fee and split it the same as you would ems, and obviously you'd just ask for that payment when time comes. hope this was somewhat helpful! and thanks for watching!

Hi there! I have a question about GOs from Korea. If you're living in Korea and doing an international group order, would it really be cheaper for the people involved? From what I understand, buyers in a USA GO save money because of the discount on the bulk EMS shipping. But if a GO master is living in Korea wouldn't the EMS charges pretty much be the same as ordering from any other kpop website since you have to send each album individually rather than getting a bull discount? Or am I perhaps misunderstood?
