this kind of job is where Chris's skill and experience really shines through, a lot of people would have pulled the deep dents out then just slapped on a load of filler rather than taking the time or through lack of experience, top job chris 👍
Chris is old school and has learned from his experience in his past and that’s all come from his Dads Ethics on how to approach a situation and deal with it!! My Hat Goes Off To Chris & Wish We Could Have Meet His Father 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Chris is naturally very patient, and very exacting. His end products are always exemplary. A true craftsman. These two boys may well contribute 50% each, but there total sum always exceeds 100%. Just marvellous 👌
Been in the trade since the mid 90's and Chris must be up there with some of the most skilled men I've worked with, Make's it look so easy but that's a lifetime of experience 👍
Chris has got the unique skills of a long lost dying trade, in a throw away world, compelling and educational viewing, thanks for the lesson mate, priceless. What a great team you guys are.
The knowledge Chris has got is seriously staggering, any chance of a little background on how it all started for Chris? I'm sure alot of subscribers would find it very interesting. Happy New Year boys.
Good evening Rob & Chris 😊 You can’t help but praise Chris on his body work but as a team you’re both top guys 👍🏻 The banter you have between you is always good hearted 🤩 Already Jan 25 and salvage rebuilds making great videos 😊
Remembering the location of the rat damage under the dash and thinking about mine there’s a boot activation switch in the drivers door I assume the loom goes through the door pillar into the area where the rat was chewing could there be more damage in that area on the loom to the front door switch? Great content as always guys thanks. Pete.
Another excellent video of a master class panel beating. Chris should have been mentioned in the new year honours. Seriously, informative a pleasure to watch. Happy new year. I have little Audi, I am saddened to learn that the body of my car is easily damaged.
I'd like to know what Chris prefers doing , fabricating or mechanical side , he's an absolute genius with everything he does , what an absolute genius ,
Chris did well in saving the quarter panel and of course saving you money. A really nice job as usual from Chris. I would check for more rodent action in the BMW estate, you never know it could be a very small nick. Thanks for the video Rob and Chris, take care in the very cold weather Gentlemen. 👍👍
Thanks for showing the spot dent puller work. Chris done a great job on the quarter. I have the vevor spot dent puller similar to yours only used it a couple of times .Great that Chris explained the process and the results looked fab.
Rob. Happy 2025. Not a bad user to run around in the white 3 or 4 series. Suppose it’s a 4 series cab these days. Audi what a winner winner chick-dinner. Love the fact you guys get some in right money right easy repair. Art form the buying
Great job and as you guys always seem to sell under market value nobody can ever have any complaints can they? I love watching those who take pride in what they do it makes me happy even though I don't have that drive I am afraid ha ha but I really appreciate those that do 👍👍👍
Great work guys, Chris is a master at the pulling & filling, so envious, he makes it look so easy and I know from my amateur attempts on my car it isn't. Looking forward to the next one 👍👍👍
That exact same damage happened to my neighbours car but at the same end it got crashed by drunk driver who run off the police caught the driver who wasn't insured they had a courtesy car for little bit that went back before Christmas the car look like a structural damage the wheel is bent inwards that was his son's car unfortunately he passed away he really looked after it love the video's rob and Chris
Hello boys, loving the channel and regularly chat with my work mate about all the project's you take on and complete to such a high standard, as I have commented many times to my colleagues you would never know the cars you repair have been damaged then repaired, they all agreed , the only thing we can't agree on is do insurance company's charge a higher premium to insure a repaired vehicle even when they are repaired to your standards, we would all appreciate your comments on this, cheers boys keep up the good work .👌
Always a treat watching Chris work his magic 👌, as for the beemer boot latch!, my only suggestion would be, attach a bit of knotted rope to the tailgate to pull down on!! 👍😉😉
Great workmanship from Chris as usual he is a wizard with his panel beating skills seems to be coming along nicely it will be a lovely motor for some one i hope you get the BMWs boot sorted out take care fellas and stay lucky and healthy 👍 😊❤
Top job as always from Chris, missed the new year video as I was tucked up with the lurgy sweating bullets, so all the best for the new year lads. Cheers.
Great work again guys. Quick turnaround for the little Audi🤟. BMW boot must have another means to try and open it, like a button in the cabin and off the key. Assume these don't work either. I'd use the scan tool to test the boot operation... maybe another chewed wire?
Hi rob and Chris, Chris a great job on the wee car, I'm from Belfast northern Ireland, i didn't care about the number plate, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Fair play guys been a subscriber for over 4 years now love it what a great result once a again love seeing a car turned around a profit at the end great pair of blokes fair play keep it hope 2025 is a good profitable year
Another brilliant video. Great to see a craftsman at work. You guys arent just greay at what you do but you are both great human beings. Honesty DOES pay.
Good evening Rob and Chris, great little video and the car is progressing well. Happy New Year to you both. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
Great little car Great save on the panel Chris. It’s interesting that “bogwork” is Chris’s least favorite part of the salvage business. And yet he’s so good at it nobody will ever have to follow behind him fun to watch I’ve learned a lot Thank You Gentlemen
It is entirely possible to register a new vehicle with a transferred NI Plate, so it will be its only recorded registration number, without it being sold or registered in NI. The number could be transferred directly, or be on retention.
Hi Rob and Chris, I know you hate it when people do this, but as it has be a couple of years since an update on it, I was just wondering if there was any news on how Chris is getting through his personal collection as we haven’t had an update on those in a while. Also would love an update on the Reliant Ant. I absolutely love that little thing such a cool thing
Hey Rob and Chris some BMW's have a Valet Lock in the glovebox. This can very easily be knocked accidentally to the off position, which will prevent the fob, key and manual release from working. Its normally a sliding switch which should be set to the unlock position for the release/closure, key fob etc to work.👍hopefully it's that......an easy fix .
Hello Rob and Chris, the Audi A1 is looking better with the work done, Chris has done a top job on that.the BMW is looking smart after the wash.brilliant video.
That tailgate latch could be connected to the LIN bus (remember that nightmare!) see if the scanner reveals any faults. Might lead to another chewed wire problem. Don't know for sure but it's worth bearing in mind. Good luck.
Hi Rob and Chris, nice, cheap, easy repair for this one.. Chris is a master of these panel repairs for sure, Rob that tailgate problem on the estate BMW looks like it'll take some sorting (wiring)..?? Alex.
Your scan tool, maybe, has a wiring diagram for the tailgate on it. You should be able to check for power and ground back to a connector to help you break down the system. 🙂
Great video lads. Chris is a magician. Felt how you feel in the cold Rob I been outside last couple of days messing about with a bmw 🤣 I had a f31 estate so previous gen to yours with same issue couldn’t bloody get it to work. Ended up being the actual button itself had moisture in it. Happy new year cheers
Love watching Chris and his profession, wish I'd carried on doing vehicle body repairs when I left school at a proper garage. Just to clarify Rob, you can buy a number plate and keep it on a "Retainer", then the dealer will put it on any car, including new cars. Have a great New Year lads & your families.👍
It's the place you would want to leave a damaged car, but we know they don't do that, if they did Chris hasn't got the space, top work to the highest standard.
this kind of job is where Chris's skill and experience really shines through, a lot of people would have pulled the deep dents out then just slapped on a load of filler rather than taking the time or through lack of experience, top job chris 👍

Another cracking example of Chris’s patience & work.
With BMW has someone pushed /pulled the tailgate up or down & stripped the gear on the motor ?
As always Chris works his magic - never get tired of watching him do his stuff. Well done lads = keep them coming !!👍👊👍

The A Team when repairing motors what a job yet again Chris, great content lads ❤

Superb video again Chris and Rob. Happy New Year. Looking forward to future videos on the BMW Alpina but I know time is short for you chaps. 😇
Enjoyed as usual Rob, and Chris is a superb engineer on so many levels
Hello boys, loving the channel and regularly chat with my work mate about all the project's you take on and complete to such a high standard, as I have commented many times to my colleagues you would never know the cars you repair have been damaged then repaired, they all agreed , the only thing we can't agree on is do insurance company's charge a higher premium to insure a repaired vehicle even when they are repaired to your standards, we would all appreciate your comments on this, cheers boys keep up the good work .👌

For the BMW power tailgate have you connected a computer to the car and checked if there is any fault codes for any of the sensors, motors or switch
I think we all be proud
of you, Chris. You made a fantastic job of that just shows how good you are of course and you Rob lol

Happy New Year Chris and Rob. As usual a great video. Have a good week. Marc from Australia 🇦🇺

Never gets old how good Chris is but I could be wrong but it looks like Chris has a bit of arthritis starting in his hands ❤
Enjoyable as always. Looking forward to what's in store for '25....👌🏻🎯
Love watching Chris and his profession, wish I'd carried on doing vehicle body repairs when I left school at a proper garage.
Just to clarify Rob, you can buy a number plate and keep it on a "Retainer", then the dealer will put it on any car, including new cars. Have a great New Year lads & your families.👍
Could have been registered new with the NI plate from certificate by mainland dealer thus plate on car from new in mainland
Another great video thanks Chris and Rob
Also in NL cars don’t require mot until 4 years after 1st registration hence the 4 year gap
Happy New year! Great video as always 👍
❤Thanks that's awesome❤ Nice one Rob. Thanks Chris. Nice that was
Is there a sensor on the trim that covers the latch on the estate car
It's the place you would want to leave a damaged car, but we know they don't do that, if they did Chris hasn't got the space, top work to the highest standard.
