So lovely to see a blacksmith who shows us what to do in real time. No weird music, special effects or speeded up... Oh well a bit of speeded up sections. ♥️

Thats a very nice swage! alot of work though, I just bend mine up cold but then again I abuse my tools so much, I think if made a nice one I would be afraid to use it...

Very nice!! I really like this spring swage design and I think these will be the new standard to measure all other spring swages by. The whole design just screams style and comfort when holding. 👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent! I make mine with flat springs to minimize fishtailing. But the similarity stops there. No drilling, no fullering the spring. Yours are ART!

Thanks! You gave me a good idea for making me a swageblock that i need. I don't have much spare money to buy supplies, but I got scrap metal around! LOL! I see how to use old pipe now to make one!!! Thanks! Take care and God bless!

    Very well executed Daniel.
I've made I think 9 sizes of spring swages now.
    Super useful tools.
I use them in my power hammer and Treadle hammer.
    Thanks for sharing the process.

Love the video, just want to point out that the measurements at 1:30 into freedom units is a bit off. The measurements you have would make it an almost 2foot square of plate steel instead of a bar that looks to be an inch wide

Would it be beneficial to have the top of the toll rounded, so that you don’t stress the wield on the top die to much when hitting oversized material? (never seen it, but would the tool benefit?)
