Just my opinion but this is a informational Channel. This is your teaching platform of all of your animals. And if someone thinks you're talking too much and they can personally fast forward cuz my daughter enjoys learning all the things that you talked about and so do I

I am an exotic bird breeder and who ever you are talking to is giving you good advice. Excellent job clipping the wings and nails. Would love to see more vids on caring for the birds and good luck with the Yellow Napes laying for you. Not to be a buzz kill but most first clutches are not fertile but crossing fingers and hoping they are. Good idea to give a calcium supplement esp. while she is laying. She should lay 3 eggs that is a normal clutch. Probably telling you things you already know. Lots of Love and Kindness.

Hi Blake no hate I love your Channel but I just don’t agree with clipping a birds wings. I can say for experience I used to clip all four of my birds wings but then I realize that it is taking away a key part of the birds mobility,enrichment and health for example The birds respiratory system isn’t used to full capacity until the bird is in flight some other health issues that your bird can get if you clip it wings include obesity from not being able to get the proper exercise. Some people may say “oh it’s for the bird safety” yes maybe in the short term you’re helping your bird but in the long term you’re not helping your bird. If the birds environment is not “safe” then you will need to alter its environment and make that environment that the bird is spending long periods of time in safe for the bird. Again no hate but I just don’t think that you should clip margaritas wings
Completely agree, I think Blakes handles his parrots very poorly, I would suggest him to get in touch with birdtricks where he might get some helpful tips on how to better handle them. Being an "informative" channel it's also spreading information on how to handle this animals, so he should strive to have higher standards (no hate, just a bit disappointed in him)
Yes. They have wings so let them use it! Plus, birds like that are so intelligent and can be trained to freeflight!

I just want you to know some of the knowledge I know,
If you clip both wings your not doing much. She can still fly pretty well because you are basically “ shortening her legs “ she may not fly as far but if you only clip one wing she will be unbalanced, and when both wings are clipped she can learn to fly much faster and better than when one wig is clipped.

Your channel your choice to do what you like! I like it when you talk because it gives us so much information and teaches us about the animals. Hahaha I'm the same way with our dogs, I give shots, any kinda meds, cut nails and grooming. Like you said less stress for the animal and cheaper. Keep up the amazing work you do with the animals!

Yo Blake I think u should build a nice aviary for the parrots, I know it’s not necessary for survival but I truly think you you are breeding and housing them communally they could seriously benefit from a nice sized aviary
