I'm from Canada. The Young Offenders Act is what protects his name, and depending on his sentence, he may be out at 21 with his record sealed. The judge would need to allow him to be charged as an adult. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that's how this will go down.

You heard that right. 23 cases of ruining his victims' lives, and he gets less than a year in jail and little more than half being publicly supervised, under the pretense that he should "reengage with the real world and grow up all over again", and that he would somehow get better following education, therapy, and learning social skills.

At least in league you don't get reported for feeding when you are 5/2/4 in the first ten minutes because you would not go solo and the other players would only let you play the meta. DOTA 2 has by far the most toxic community (I have played DOTA 2, League, and Smite. Smite is my favorite.)

To everyone whom is interested, and even AlphaOmegaSin, I decided to look up information on the case, and found an article stating he'll be given 16 months punishment. 261 days in prison, and then 8 months under supervision in the community.
You heard that right. 23 cases of ruining his victims' lives, and he gets less than a year in jail and little more than half being publicly supervised, under the pretense that he should "reengage with the real world and grow up all over again", and that he would somehow get better following education, therapy, and learning social skills.
This comment is so important for people in this topic.... - imo - that you should copy paste it under your same account - obviously -, so it would make it to the top of comment section under the video, so it could have more likes, also delete this one. Just rewrite it in a way that it's obvious you found about this 5 years ago. In cases like this people should know what's what though

When I was a kid the internet was barely even a thing and online gaming was non existant, I had to actually interact with other people. These days, you can interact with people from all over the world without leaving your couch, and considering how many messed up people are out there, that's a scary thing.

There's people like these that, figuratively speaking, stabs the government services, the online community and even people's lives just because they wanted to be loved, and those who rejected him/her should suffer a fate worse than death, by harassing and more. It's a classic example of revenge based on personal reason or to satisfy self-ego.
