What an unbelievable couple of days. Glad you eventually made it into Brisbane after such a long trip. Annika is doing a great job recovering and Mrs Bs dad is doing well waiting for the repair of his house. Going to Brisbane was definitely the right decision.

I enjoyed this video although sadden by the whole thing as well. Hope you Dad gets back into his home soon - he is such a happy go lucky guy with a great sense of humour -- also hope your daughter is on the way to recovery -- she is very good in spirits and has her youthness to help her but all the same going through what she has gone through has been no picnic for her... or for you as a mum.
I 100% know the feeling when you get that call, and it's something that no parent ever wants to receive. Our daughter was in a car accident 1400km north of us, but luckily she had no long-term injuries besides writing her car off (and costing me $65k to buy my wife a new car so we could give her car to the daughter lol) Glad things are all ok for you and your daughter, but it will be a bit of a painful road to recovery both physically and mentally, but she is in one piece and thats the main thing
