Hi Mark Thankyou for your videos. I bought recently an 46 baler and it is old but it works. Your videos have shown me how to fix it up and made me get some parts from UK to do some renovations on it.
Thanks for the video. I have an IH 425 baler and it's similar. I have to thread the needle on one side as it pulled out when twine got tangled in the twine chamber.
Yeah, no need to pass the twine into the bale chamber, just tie the ends of the twines to somewhere underneath on the baler frame. When you trip the knotters the needles will bring the twine up into the chamber and then into the retainers 😉
Hi Mark I've got the same baler and I've changed from sisal twaine to plastics and one end of the twaine is coming out from the disc and only one end of the twaine is getting knotted What can be the problem?
Is your disc damage is missing a pin on the end, cus mine was and i had to take the disc out and weld some metal up.... take a mesure from knife and disc and do with spect.. or take the mesure from the disc to knife that making knots and adjust the other one ... have a look to nidles as well if they are too worn out the twine cant come up to disc and disc canot take ... You can spin your baler by hand its a bit harder but you will see how it is working and where does it miss... Hope i help you

You put it thru under the bailer
Great videos mark I just bought a b46 and was wondering did you have to change much to use plastic twine mine is on old twine
Thanks for the comment Dermot Ned.
Do you think twine like mine ? Blue? You can make a knot betwen old and new twine and it will feed it self
@@markthefarmer thanks for your reply, I was told that these old baler wont work with plastic twine but I see yours works fine so I will try it
