Hi I’m 16 n Very interested in starting to learn the computer skills needed to creat visuals like this for videos , was just wandering what this form of animation / video editing is called / what software you use to creat it ? Cheers
@@lampfish5434 Haha not yet, i read that lsd and 2cb isnt a great combo and thought (still think) that a candyflip and nexusflip are great, but very different Combos on its own.
Few times I see such a well put together audiovisual effort where neither the video or the music are competing for all the attention, but instead, they both are in harmony and synchronicity to bring a fantastic voyage!
Why is it that every time I watch a Max Cooper video, it feels like I'm on some experimental drug, existing in a dimension I was never supposed to be in?
@@MrSuperkoteman Yes, that one might be even more impressive, or T69 Collapse by Aphex Twin. However, the music video of Resynthesis is outstanding, so pleasing for the brain!
Wow. I simply want to remind everybody of how small we are. Max Cooper is from another dimension because nobody could catch life this way. This is not just music this is art 🖼️
Sometimes i play stuff like this in the car with the windows down and if i saw someone else doing that I’d flip because it’s rare to find people who appreciate music like this
It is rare to see such a perfect symbiosis between two artists, esp when it's not audio-audio but rather audio-visual. This is one of those occurences. It's nothing short of a privilege to be able to witness this. Thank you both, and everyone else involved.

Holy shit this video. I once found myself lucid while asleep in the state between dreams where there is just nothing/darkness. I experienced how dreams spring into existance from that place and how my mind creates them. This is the most accurate description of that experience I have ever come across.
This is just beautifully done, and opens my eyes to a whole new genre of visual imagery. I can only imagine what this would look like on the VisionPro. This is tailor made for the Las Vegas Sphere as well.
"Disintegrate Slowly" by The Glitch Mob synchronises (almost) perfectly with the vid (on mute). I don't want to take away from Max's awesome music because I'm a huge fan.

so I went to college to learn this kind of stuff but and I know how he did some things in this video but im actually generally baffled on how you'd create some of these effects.
@@gunwedIt looks like to me, that they manipulated the source footage in a 3D software(blender, Houdini, Maya, take your pick) to create these crazy light spirals. They would take the 2D footage and duplicate several times back into 3D space. They would pair this with clever animation and blending of the images(additive, or screen mode by the looks of it) to get the different animated patterns that we see. The easiest way to do this would be to use procedural animation(based on scripting/or programing), because doing this by hand would be nigh impossible. Take all of this with a grain of salt, because I actually don't know for sure how they did it, but this is my educated guess.
I recall the the time after midnight where I stumbled upon this gem whilst rolling. I just kept staring at my screen, being motionless and hypnotized by the visuals and melody. I snapped out of it when the song was over and replayed it but this time dancing in my garden. I was free and roaming the skies of bliss.

I started by listening to a Floating Points mix, and I was blessed by some of the dopest music from artists I'd never heard of. Two or three Max Cooper songs came on - great stuff!!!
I'm really curious whether the '3D' effects were accomplished with stacked 2d image transforms or images positioned in 3D space. I can't tell which it is and it's killing me.
Actually, looking at the blurring on the images. It looks a little too cinematic and high quality to be a simple blur effect to 'fake' being out of focus. Leaning towards 3D rendering, but still really curious how it was done.
Most of the time it's cutting the outer frame or a little frame from the image and duplicating it with a vector path. Also manipulating the path's length value for that stretchy feeling.
Almost like being hypnotized by the music & the video not heard decent music in this genre for a long role-playing used to inhabit house clubs in 1988 with the end of the night chill out rooms, very good up there with the orb & orbital😊😊😊😊😊
