Hi, just wanted to say that there's nothing wrong with the Leonardo, I have made a similar project to one of yours which has 6 Channels (Including the master Ctrl) and I also have switches wired up to the digital pins of and Arduino Nano (Clone Boards) the switches help me to mute a certain channel. All I want to say is Leonardo is maybe a bit overkill as My Arduino Nano is capable of handling the code just fine with its memory and SRAM. And also the DEEJ runs a software in the background which reads the serial com port so a Arduino Nano/Uno doesn't have any problem as per my knowledge. Leonardo and Pro micro has USB CDC feature but the DEEJ probably doesn't use it.
EDIT: For more pins you can use I2C expander module like the PCF8574 for I/O
Oh man, I love projects like this. Subbed, and awesome video!
deej ? is this Flemish ?
Hi RJ, nice work! We'd love to offer you some boards if you might need them in the upcoming content. (PCBWayDaisy) 🤩
