Goodbye, and Goodnight!!!
#Los Campesinos #Reacts #Listensto - เพลง
This band didn’t just inspire Wilbur musically, but also in how they do live shows. Los Campesinos! always demand that venues they play in have disabled access, gender neutral bathrooms, and sell some of the tickets at a lower price for those with lower incomes. This is something Lovejoy tries to do now as well.
Anecodotally from my experience of going to a lovejoy concert, they did none of those things
@@yaseminyilmaz1648 Yeah from what I hear Lovejoy has had trouble getting venues to meet those requests
what's especially cool about los campesinos! is how they have up to 8 members in their music, it really creates an amazing explosion of sound that is hard to match
ALONDOR HI ALONODR HI ALONDOR
@@Kayret KAYLA HI KAYLA HI KAYLSA
alondor momemt
hi alondor hi hi
I’ve been listening to Los Campesinos for ages and here’s my list of their best songs:
“This is how you spell HAHAHA” is their best song by far, the sound is phenomenal and the atmosphere it brings is great
“There are listed Buildings” heavily underrated while still having a ton of plays, people don’t talk about it enough
“All your Keyfabe friends” this one is under appreciated and I feel like it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves
“Death To Los Campesinos” their second best song in my opinion, the lyrics are great and it just feels a way the other songs cannot compare to
Their song The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future has one of my favourite music videos of all time. It’s nothing fancy, just actual footage of them and their friends hanging out at the beach but that mundane thing fits really well with the song.
You should listen to 'This is how you spell "HAHAHA, We Destroyed The Hopes And Dreams Of A Generation Of Faux-Romantics"' and definetly 'By Your Hand'!
my favorites by them are Miserablilia, Too Many Flesh Suppers, and Here's to the Fourth Time!
Great taste icl
alondor moment
alondor why make multiple comments when you can fragment them into one
yes!!! those songs are so good
glad to see you finally got around to them!
here are my suggestions for whenever you make the second part:
- Allez Les Blues
- There Are Listed Buildings
- Dumb Luck
- My Year In Lists
also love that Good Kid is on the wheel, they are another band that has definitely inspired Lovejoy in some regard (namely with a scrapped song named Coronado which sounded very similar to Tell Me You Know by GK in parts)
for los campesinos i recommend "the sea is a good place to think of the future" and "death to los campesinos" !!!
also i recommend another band called modern baseball!!
They are on the list!
i love Los Campensinos! i feel like you'd really like Sorority Noise and Modern Baseball if you haven't already :) found you through your Lovejoy reviews but stuck around for these really great reviews you put out, man!
AAAH, you made my day with that reaction! Los Campesinos! just have that unique vibe to them that I love - fun, very interesting lyrics, Gareth's way of singing and his voice, the use of glockenspiel, violin, synths etc. and also the noise factor in their songs. They're like the only band I can put the entire discography of on loop and not skip once. I'm so glad that you liked them!
Some of my favourites are: The Sea Is a Good Place to Think of the Future; We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed; Ways to Make It Through the Wall; Hello Sadness (my personal favourite); Here’s to the Fourth Time!; Avocado, Baby; Songs About Your Girlfriend; I Just Sighed. I Just Sighed, Just So You Know.
Great reaction as always! I love your content!
honestly with the amount of song reccomendations youre gonna get you could just go through each album lmao
Like that's. Way too much time.
@@ruffboimags but worth it, theyre all brilliant and its alot of content that we would eat up like ants
one song of los campesinos that i dont see nearly enough is "For Whom The Belly Tolls" its actually so good
you’re so real for this! i love that song, literally had it on loop for so long
@@seokiefield on a related note, to me it sounds so similar to a specific song that probably came out around 2010 but I can't remember for the life of me
YESS!! i was looping it earlier
omg, i’ve been waiting for this! they are literally my favourite band ever since i’ve discovered them…
my recommendation would be anything off of their No Blues album (especially Avocado, Baby and Selling Rope (Swan Dive to Estuary)), but all the other recommendations in the comments are very solid!💛
ill some of share my personal favorites as recommendations! “Broken Heartbeats Sound Like Breakbeats”, “There are listed buildings”, and “Ways to make it through the wall” are pretty cool ! :D
ways to make it through the wall based
You have amazing taste
Songs I’d recommend for pt2 would be: the sea is a good place to think about the future, avocado baby, 5 flucloxacillin and in media res
Glad you’re enjoying los camp !! LC4LYF!
i love that you changed the title for this video from "TOP fan" to "Lovejoy fan"!!
Great video!! :]]] and okay here are my recommendations of lc! songs:
Who Fell Asleep In,
I Just Sighed. I Just Sighed, Just So You Know,
There Are Listed Buildings (Wilburs fav)
She Crows,
We Are Beautiful We Are Doomed,

allez les blues
omg yes allez les blues is soo good I'm surprised I haven't seen many people suggest it
Can’t wait to see u listen to the Royston Club, happy to see them on the list
for the part 2 you should do
- we are beautiful we are doomed
- heres to the fourth time
- avocado baby
a good show of their range over the past nearly 2 decades
sick scenes is their most recent album and it is heavenly
all of the heart swells songs and docccumented minor emotional breakdown songs are great
@@ShoelaceMusicwhole damn body is their most recent
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS 🤩 this is my favorite band! *(also like 10 of those comments are mine XD)
Romance is boring is probably the best representation of Los Campesinos and a good starter and I’m so glad you listened to it first
Also according to my Spotify stats things my top 3 songs I’ve listened to by Los Campesinos! (Disregarding any songs you’ve already listened to) is:
1. Allez Les Blues with 66 streams and 250 minutes
2. Songs About Your Girlfriend with 60 streams and 198 minutes
3. There Are Listed Buildings with 42 streams and 122 minutes
I recommend maybe listening to a couple of the live versions on Spotify because it’s such a cool band with lively artists and makes for great live music if that makes since, I will say that romance is boring has 114 streams with 293 minutes
I will say that those are my Spotify stats based off of number of streams but I often find myself leaning towards their album Whole Damn Body and honestly recommend you listen to the whole album
I don’t know if people have suggested them already but The Front Bottoms are really good and also an inspiration for Wilbur in terms of lyrics
On the list already!
LOVE LOS CAMPESINOS
YOOO THE ROYSTON CLUB ARE ON UR LIST!! i saw them live in june theyre so fucking cool
The sea is a good place and straight in at 101 are my favourites
As a long time los campesinos listener id love to see you listen to these songs in that part 2 you mentioned:
This is a Flag. There is no wind
Miserabilia
Avocado, baby
Baby I got the death rattle
Death to Los Campesinos
My Year in Lists
But honestly all of los campesinos' songs are absolute bangers and i recommend listening to all their stuff
My personal favorite los camposinos song is "we are beautuful we are doomed" and i think wilburs favorite is there are listed building if you want to give it a try
Baby I got the death rattle is also great
I know everyone else is recommending their favorites for you to listen to, but I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring as well since Los Campesinos is one of my favorite bands! It'd be so awesome if you checked out:
We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed
All Your Kayfabe Friends
In Media Res
There Are Listed Buildings
By Your Hand
I'm pretty happy that Cavetown is on the list! Here's some of my favorites (of just him not the many collabs):
Lemon Boy
This is home, there's two versions but in my opinion the first one's better
I miss my mum
Sweet Tooth
Boys Will be Bugs is one of his classics as well.
Very happy TRC is on the list
you should definitely listen to The Sea is a Good Place to Think About the Future by them aswell
you HAVE to listen to « we are beautiful,we are doomed » it is literally my FAVORITE los campesinos song eve!!
Listen to moreeee!
I recommend The Fall Of Home
Straight in At 101
The Sea Is A Great Place To Think Of The Future (i recommend this one a LOT)
seeing you react to some of my favorite bands has inspired me to recommend my all time favorite band (and friends of lovejoy) good kid. they are an indie rock band and are SO GOOD DUDE
They are on the list!
@@JLAnderson_Music WOO!!
AND DUMB LUCK ITS SO GOOD
Justin, you should absolutely listen to sparky deathcap tear jerky. Send it to Oslo is legitimately the best song I’ve ever heard and I’d love to see your reaction to him
Loved seeing The Royston Club on the list! I'd like to recommend Yucky Duster or The Amazing Devil!
My personal favorite Los Campesinos! songs are "C is the heavenly option" and "We throw parties, you throw knives", but nonetheless I'm excited to see a part two!!
I had practically the same reaction when I listened to a song of theirs for the first time! Both the surprise and interest at the lead singer's unique voice and the strangely addicting punk tone of their songs, lol. Honestly can't put into words why I love their songs so much, 'cause it's not a style I'm usually into, but LC! just hits different.
I would recommend listening to every LC! song if I could, but if or when you do another one of these, some good options to check out are "Ways to Make It Through the Wall," "This Is a Flag. There Is No Wind," and literally every song from _Hello Sadness._ I would list a specific one, but literally every song in that album is so good that I can't choose between them.
It was really awesome to see someone react to some of their songs! Feeds all the LC! fans, sparse though they are. Great video!
Listen to "By Your Hand" and "Hello Sadness" by them, they're both awesome songs!
my favs are miserabilia, there are listed buildings, and by your hand!
You should react to Crywank if you haven’t already! Lovejoy has covered one of Crywanks songs and Wilbur has covered many other crywank songs himself:)
They are on the list!
Definitely keen on another Los Campesinos video!
I feel like the majority of Wilbur/Lovejoy songs have a lyric that is directly inspired by a LC! Lyric.
I was introduced to Los Campesinos! through Wilbur and they quickly became my favourite band.
LOS CAMP MY LOVEE
Dumb luck nd allez les blues are my favourites by them
Los Campesinos! songs I enjoy and would recommend are Renato Dall'Ara (2008) & I Broke Up in Amarante
yippee !!! i love los campesinos :D
I would recommend the sea is a good place to think of the future and there are listed buildings for the next one
Yay !!!
the fact he skipped one of my favourite songs from them to listen to Knee Deep instead tho💀
fr
PLEASE listen to bears in trees i think you would love them especially their song concrete it reminds me so much of lovejoy
You should listen to There are listed buildings by them its one of thier best in my opinion and wilburs favorite song Also other you should check out are By your hand and tiptoe through the true bits
one of my favourites is "Don't Tell Me To Do The Math(s)" I recommend that one for the next ep
if you listen to more Los campesinos you should listen to for flotsam, it’s my favourite of Los campesinos’ songs
Not had the chance to listen to lovejoy yet but will have to check them out., I’m still patiently waiting for Ren ❤
Hey! You should add Oh Hellos! to your list! They have a indie-folk sound and its a brother and sister duo, and they aren't anything like you've shown on the channel. :D
Other Los Camp! songs i would recommend would be Songs About Your Girlfriend, Hello Sadness and Straight In At 101
I lovvveee los campasinos
Found your channel recently and have been having a lot of fun going through and watching your reactions :] have you listened to anything from the crane wives before?
They are on my list!
YES YESYSE
The mv for their song we throw parties you throw knives bleeds into the start of You me dancings video and I think that’s pretty cool
tbh you should listen to anything on hold on now youngster its a great album!!!
PLEASE add The chats to the list for this series 🙏🙏🙏
i am noticing a lack of sick scenes recommendations in the comments
you should listen to Got Stendhal's or Sad Suppers
indeed
you should add two door cinema club to the list! i think youd really like them
They are on there!
@@JLAnderson_Music looking forward to what you think!
An artist I would love to see looked at is Everybody's Worried About Owen!! I love his work and very few people I know have heard of him
Also Waterparks because they're my favorite band lol, and I must plug them
We have done waterparks but I will add the other to the list!
@@JLAnderson_Musicomg I gotta go back and watch the Waterparks one!!! Ty
If you like cello’s I’d suggest The Happy Fits as a fun band! They are my favorite indie pop-rock band and use a lot of cello in their songs!
don't know if these are on the list alreay but you should listen to the band Lost Stars and the band Phoneboy
Since you like Wilbur, I think you should listen to Ricky Jamaraz. He's fifteen years old and takes some inspiration from Wilbur. My top 3 favourite songs from him are Castle(you're so lilac), Microwave, and Romanticizing autum.
:)
You should listen to Hospital Bracelet! Their music is quite similar to lovejoy imo.
I have to know if crywank is on your list
Oh indeed
:DDDD
u should listen to beabadoobee! lovejoy did a cover on one of her songs
Who is Lovejoy?
Skipped one of the most devastating songs ever written
It's a violin not a cello! (sorry, just had to point that out for my instrument).
Listen to there are listed buildings by los campesinos
