I have liked watching this biogas video from Malawi. Wow what an amazing work and technology. I am going right away to start using biogas. My fellow Africans let's wake up and use bio gas and conserve our beautiful African continent.
Biogas is nice in that it is fast to get to temperature if used as cooking fuel. That you need to process manure before gardening and that this has added value over composting is a win. I would use something other than hands to stir the slurry... Hopefully will see a return to cob houses, but with deeper eaves to reduce maintenance and create more usable space...
Martin tell Laban to come construct a bio gas PLANT at my farm in Namibia, remember the size of that cucumber,i am also interested on the bio slurry.. Africa HARAMBEE!!!
I'm so proud of the ingenuity this professor Wow we need more of this stuff in Africas so our trees can survive and forest men very proud May Allah blessed those who make life easier for us Amin
such a beautiful countryside, it could be here in Sao Paulo… glad we are going in the same direction and prospecting safer, cleaner, cheaper technologies. I’m Caio, from Brasil. 🇧🇷
Greetings from the Netherlands.👍 I love these kind of video's. In your country the conditions to do something like this are better for doing this then in the Netherlands. I think the production of gas will be far less when it is colder. And we have shitty winters overhere. I have build a woodstove that generates electricity. And that also heats a 500 liter boiler for hot water and a 3000 liter boiler to store heat for later purposes. I wanted to build also a woodgasifier. But after America has been corrupting the entire Ukraine and has been plotting and sceming to start a proxywar prices of wood also have been skyrocketed. And wood has becomes scarse. So i have to minimise the use of wood. This seems to me a good alternative. Overhere they also used a similiar system back in the time of WW2. And used it to power vehicles. They indeed were driving around with such a big bag you have on the top of the car. It was not as good as fuel but they could travel with the use of natural gas. Made a few adjustments to the carburator and that was it. But the gas had to be clean so they needed to filter it with bleech and water. But i find it very strange what they are doing in your country. It is much easier to set up a handfull solarpanels and start cooking electric. This is also much cleaner. Do not get me wrong but this type of gas can be very unhealthy. This kind of gas can destroy the brain. It is very harmfull. You have to use it at a place with a lot of ventilation. Also the way the bag with gas is placed gets me a bit anxious. I would use things like appendixes like a B-valve that will prevent the backlash of fire into the pipes or tubes. I see that they are often feeding the gasifier with cowdunk. From my knkwledge this only needs to be done at the start. But i could be wrong about that. People like those in this video are often people that know better what to do then we people in the West. We are not self-reliant anymore. I would definitely use a kg of suger from time to time. This would boost the fermetation tremendously i think. And i would also play some music from the Beegees. Sure that this will help.🙈 Why not use the gas for a generator ? And just lead a powercable into the home or kitchen ? Then you can cook keramic or with induction. This is much safer. And the surplus of the electricity can be used for much more. For light and even getting hot water for taking a shower. Or doing this in combination with a few solarpanels. In your country solarpanels are much better then in the Netherlands. Much more sun. And when it is dark then you could use the generator. This would be my idea when i was living overthere. I will try to build my own bio gasifier. More then enough space outside. Need to create something that is way bigger then the ones i saw in this video. Because it will not work as good as in your country. Although certain bacteria also must nog get to hot. Otherwise they die. You could easily try the use of a generator. Simply hold the end of a hose at the insert of the carburator. It should be able to run. Connect a simple valve at the end of the hose. Later when it is functioning properly you could make something better and more permanent. Greetings from the Netherlands and thanks for the idea.💪💪🙏🙏 In the end of your
I am watching this in Canada. I want to make a biogas plant in a greenhouse. We have winter that will halt gas production and will burst our tanks if they freeze. You are lucky to have warmth all year round. It is good for your digester. I have seen many biogas video's and I must say that this is my favoutire one yet. It is nice to see how different people have different approaches and it is nice to hear them all agree that it has been worth the investment too. Those plants are amazing too! Wow! Keep up the good work! This is the first video I have seen of yours but I have subscribed already. Great work
It's also able to build a Biogas-plant in Canada. You need a good thermal insulation, though. The chemical reaction is exothermic. So with a good enough insulation you propably doesen't even need to heat it. A tick layer of rock wool should already do the job. as soon as the heatlos though the insulation is smaller then the produced energy in heat. It will automatically heat up. You can also use thermoelement to meassure the inside temperature and control it. apparently there are even some biogas-plants in colder regoins, that use a small gas boiler (like cor caravans) to heat water and this water is pumped though pipes in a cycle though the Biogas-plant. So the water never comes in contact with another fluid. This way you will lose some small amount of gas but are still able to build a biogas-plant.
Super cool! Nature could offer is so much renewable resources we could live a abondent life and be in balance with nature. I'm also working on a biogas plant for my camper. Here in Europe whe have lots of acorns and other nuts which contains lots of carbohydrates which can be turn into ethanol I also want to work on that.
I am building a similar one in the future. I was going to lay a pvc pipe in concrete from bottom vee to outlet tank at angle then remove the top half at bottom and install a screw to remove solids. 1, How do you get the inevitable solids build up from the bottom so you don't loose capacity? With your tank because its already made I would have a capped suction pipe to bottom so I could remove a few gallons a week.Do solids build up? 2. Do you clean the gas before it goes inside for use? If so how.
Just today I was listening to Dr. Tata and heard of Biotechnology and I made a research on it. I came across your channel I have learned a lot from your channel. I will be the 1st person to make it in my region Basse, the Gambia.
I love this concept. It makes so much sense! It is a natural process. I can see this in an off grid situation along with the use of the hydrogen cell electricity generator, powered by natural gas. I can see the sewer, waste management department, and power plants working together, using biogas instead of fossil fuels. The infrastructure for distribution is already in place as are the storage facilities. The possibilities are endless, in my mind.
Shema à 7:56..... il faut un système pour pouvoir aspirer régulièrement par le fond les dépôts lourds qui s'accumuleront au fond.... ainsi ce sera bien bon ... si non pas bon , pas bon, pas bon!!!!!....
Thanks for the effort you have put in to encourage the people to start using the Biogas since it is environmental friendly and cost effective, On the other side I would like to know how I can get the biogas bladder for gas storage and how is it measured? Thanks am Godfrey Ssemagobwe from Uganda.
i observed that the inlet valve is placed very high on the drawings that i have just seen as oppposed to other bio gas sytems i have seen. What are the advantages of that?
Wait, after using cow dung to produce Biogas, what of the remaining waste produced fertilizer? What's it called? Bioslide? How to do they get it? I Missed it. Thank you.
Huyu professor anafanya kazi poa lakini aanasema vitu zingine with lack of basic information. Any biodegradable matter can produce methane. You can use pig waste single handedly or household biowaste alone to produce biogas. You must not have cow dung or mix anything with cow dung to produce biogas aka methane with impurities. He makes me not take his professor title seriously although sina title yet.
can you advise one how to do it I am interested in doing it are 2 dairy animals enough to do biogas just for home use and how much does it cost for the construction to be completed

I've been convinced that biogas is excellent in terms of renewable energy. ❤
happy to see African brother's and sister growing faster using natural products.. I am from India
Thank you brother

The professor is really practical wish my country Zambia 🇿🇲 could embrace this technology.
Loves These biogas videos. I created my own biogas right at home a small biogas i built very cheap. i actual run a two small motors with the biogas .
Hi David ! ...that is great...i am curious...kindly could you please tell me what motor/engine you are using?
This is powerful
programs like these should be encouraged,,thanks man.
Very good

I literally cant get enough of your shows man! This is exactly the kind of a Tv show we need in this day and age. Kudos man. #seedsofgoldindeed
Only 2 comments on this wonderful opportunity? Wow, this is something we need in Africa. True self-sustainance
the video has touched many lives however they've refuse to comment

You nailed it on the head big time. The economic, financial and ecological benefits of the concept are innumerable and truly exciting
The proyect is perfect for 80%.....
It needs to complète/change it for to have 100%.... if not a bit of hard problems will arrive.. by...
I know biogas can run gasoline engine as I have seen it. However Can biogas run a diesel engine? Great video?
Very good
I would like to visit the university one day.

great presentation man. i like this host.
This is a wonderful video. Big thanks to all who participated.
inilah hidup yang sebenarnya. apa yang kurang di bumi ini. Hebat. ini ilmu berharga yang harus diturunkan kepada anak cucu kita.
Great ideas from all the entire team big up guys
Nahitaji kuja inachukuwa muda gani or is it renewable yaani it can be change easly

Just buy Flexi Biogas digester. Very cheap and easy installation.
And you can move with it whenever you want to. I will pack mine to my new farm soon. Flexibiogas, is just it.
Intresting
Nice video bro
This is nice.
MANTAAP. GOOD
You are doing very goood job brother but can you show us the life and the working condition of the farmworkers and
Kenyan workers in general.
Well done!
Other videos also say it’s worth throwing in food scraps, even if they’re cooked with oil. It will produce more gas than cow manure alone!!
They lie!
Fruit and vegetables does but still combined with dung or poop
how many hours of gas can use to cook?
ល្អមែន
Am doing project on biogas and I need more education on how to generate light with the gas
Uh,uh the pigs are running away from human!
Awesome program
28:47 . "Just bring one hey"
The emphasis lol 😂
TOP INdonesia Lombok
Informative. A spring board for me to construct mine
What About water buffalo dung? It is also a grass eating animal and about same size of a cow
The digester does not need animal waste. The animals are eating your food. Eat vegetables instead and use organic waste for the digester.
Great piece, keep up the good work.
I would like to get the contact of the professor so as advise me on how to put up a biogas for my self.
How much it case u and some one out of th country like the gambia
Bisa di aplikasikan di Indonesia
Good work

Laban Think Safety too. Your guys are doing a great Job but I see them working with opened toes.
Nice video
The 32 minute mark needs some subtitles. I am watching this from the USA. It would be nice to ditch the gas company.
Share contact of the bio gas constructor
Good understanding
apart from saving money the mzee of the house is working out by bringing manure from the cow shed. How does that work then??
At 14:07 the shema is a bit just and a bit wrong................
See you................................
Отлично!!!
i would love to visit site
Seems the cows are hungry, they look too skinny
Being skinny doesn't mean that they are hungry, maybe they are fasting.😂
This is the future! English is not my first language so maybe add subtitle?
This technology is more developed as in Europe, in general people should learn from you
Sir it 6 days or 60 days for maximum digestion?? Please reply
My brother good job I really want to talk to professional and I really want to have his contact please please bless you man
Wait, after using cow dung to produce Biogas, what of the remaining waste produced fertilizer? What's it called? Bioslide? How to do they get it? I Missed it. Thank you.
Its called bio slurry
Zucchini.
Is it advisable to use a dry cow dung instead of the fresh dung
You need fresh dung for methane. It offgases more.
did you make another video showing how is working in 2019?
Why seeds of gold instead of something agricultural?
What connection does gold have with farming?
And you didn't remember that SEEDS are needed for agriculture whether animals (eggs and sperms) or plants.
Now you know.
Gold stands for value , wealth , money. Seeds of gold: seeds that can make you rich , or : valuable seeds
My question is? Can a Bio Gas be preserved in a Gas tube?
Yes it can.
Yes. It can be compressed to become Liquefied Biogas (LBG) similar to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)

l hope explain with Arabic
bio gas engineer lol ok
