Growing up as a kid in the early 2000's, they would contantly bombard us with adult scenes in cartoon shows and throw pornographic ads at us while playing kid games on the internet. They forced this on us while our brains were still developing.

Remember also that if you're stressing that the frontal lobe will be very sensitive to cravings so it's crucial to practice stress relaxing techniques and eating + drinking often.
If you have mental issues due to trauma introspection and physical exercise is often recommended (+ a therapist if you do have the financial support for it).
And also remember start small with routines, you can't go full force or else you will burn out. (During the meditation try non judgemental approach towards thoughts feelings and situations, if you judge then that's okay, notice it and just move on. And remember it will take time to see any results so don't beat yourself up)

It affected all my siblings including some of my little cousins at the time. As children we didn't know what it was the adults supervising us were distracted. I including my little sister were molested by our older brother he was maybe 3 years older than us I was 8 at the time and my sister 6. It wasn't until I was 18 I was able to even remember what happened to me. That alone brought me into a severe state of derealization leading to me making a lot of decisions that I still regret today. It's hard to explain I hope it helps you get a glimpse. 🙁
Yes I guess it affected my older brother in a way were it led to him touching his own sisters. Mainly because the adults who "cared" for us failed to protect us. 🙁
