I started trolling on my quantum and your video helped me alot on saving power, my league mate explained to me what the buffs mean and the rotation. But what's your advice when you have some dps that have low power stats? I had some 230+ dps that want to use a high loadout but dont have the skill points or dont bother modding power to be self sufficient. I was working hard to keep their power up.
I think i decided I’m going to go quantum. Hope it’s pretty good in all scenarios elite etc. the mid range is pretty far for that one power so I believe that’s far enough. And the single target is better than electricity so that’s why I’m leaning towards it.
Nice video chill! Have you tried Gravity well,Time bomb,Alcubierre wave,Inspiral waves,singularity(extra pi in case your gravity well is on cd) for AOE. Also try replacing heat vision with Cyclone Push with the SS tree and see if it gives a better result.
I'm assuming the rotation is GW-TB-AW-IWx2-AW-IW-TB for the cooldowns? It was close but still parsed lower at around 20-21k and the disadvantage there is that you don't have the s/t hit from lift so say you are in 1st boss Zoo you can target the commando and have lift hit large s/t for boss dmg while you maintain your aoe damage instead of splitting on everything. In terms of older content this rotation would win out with the constant IW spam but myself personally im not in older content much and run whats only current or within the past few dlcs. In terms of Cyclone Push it is much lower parsing you only break 9-10k and its aoe so it would split damage on any targets like say spindrift with the vortex's in the final fight. With heat vision you get 2 large ticks and all the burning dots with that rotation and you can get 12-20k just from the heat vision combined ticks not counting the dots.
the rotation i was doing was GW-TB-AW-IW-Singularity/gravity bomb. and with accelerated time bomb back mod my rotation goes left to right without any delay. same with cyclone push or tornado pull (single target) tbh it just has a steady rotation with the reduced cd on TB; where with heat vision the rotation is off.
Hank Delgado gravity wells 12s cooldown is no different than every other powerset with similar dots, unless you are running a duo the cool down really doesn’t impact anything and in terms of damage it’s more overall dmg than singularity the other pi applicator

Yea oblivion is too strong a sc even though it’s a 100% to leave off your loadout. So with Gemini it just becomes more about earning as many oblivion’s as you can

normally I don't you can do the sp to get the 1% extra prec but all you are using it for is the weapon taps so the increase in prec doesn't impact just the taps much.

Yes, the rotations found in this video will still be top the only change would be if you have to max range you would use distorian wave instead of Awave. For a duo or alert loadout you can just sub in Inspiral Waves to use those back to back on targets that have lower health.

For controlling yes its better in the end for power efficiency, even if you have a lower soul cloak artifact you get more benefit out of power efficiency as its always active

Quantum is unfortunately a power heavy dps set with high power cost abilities. In your generator mods make sure in the blues you have “Power” you can also have Replenishing Adaptor in your weapon mod that will restore power. If that still isn’t enough you can also put power efficiency in your chest mod. (The vase dispenser mods)

I personally spec vit/dom and I know most people wouldn't. I use it for pick ups though and it allows for a stronger shield, sometimes I run beside the tank in raids because its easier to crowd control and keep teammates in my field of vision. How do you feel about this?
Personally if you are max geared and have the OP items its not necessary to mod dom the gear itself will give you more than enough dom because the OP items account for roles like tanks that already have high dom in their gear. My controller shields without any dom besides the dom/power in my blues is more than enough to absorb the impact on the tentacles in The Threat Below Elite on aquaman. You mention you want stronger shields for pickups but almost all the controllers have shields that are aggro dumps so in most situations unless there is some large dot ticking you wouldn't be attacked anyways while you are getting the rez which negates that extra dom you mod for.
Stronger shields not just for pickups but for cc because as I said I like to run beside the tank because it makes for easier cc or run ahead so that the tank can prolong taking damage for a few seconds or run past enemies to activate things, I just think dom helps me personally be able to move around and focus on minor things while the tank, dps, and healers focus on fighting.
Same with my spec I will run ahead and stun all the add groups so when they breakout they slowly follow my aggro back to the tank so he doesn't have to reposition and because of my power pool everything had 3 debuffs on it at all times whether its an add or a boss because of the procs on my elite gear and artifact

the only beneficial power you could sub in would be inspiral waves to use the PI but you can still be a good distance away with Wave at least 20feet like I showed in the video also wave will hit targets behind you as well because of its nature so if say adds spawn behind you before the tank pulls them you are already doing damage to that target. But if you insist on max range than just use inspiral waves x2 instead of wave.
This load out hits really hard and is consistent. The only problem I found being 207 cr is that it drains a lot of power. This load out isnt consistent in solos and duos. Any tips on how to negate that??
munitions has better melee, quantum has better midrange and they are pretty much tied for max range. Munitions SC is better for single target and Quantums is better for AOE so tough call really. Quantum will use more power than munitions however
Parasitic Power Harness, Amulet of Rao, and some would say Scrap of the Soul Cloak i use The Dead Kings Scepter for the reasons i explained in my reply to the comment above this thats for my troll anyway, my dps also uses the Scepter, the Tetrahedron of Urgund is non negotiable it,s a must have and i,m using the Omegahadron as my final artifact
I just wanted to add my 2 cents in for the debate between power vs vit. I respectfully disagree with you about this aspect of the game. I run full vit with 100 points in power, and I am never in need of using a soda. I run exactly the same loadout as you also. The only time I use a soda is when I want to give the group a power burst (Krypto soda) or if I just got picked up. Putting all of your points into the power pool instead of vit reduces the amount of power you are giving out. Given that you essentially have a supercharge up every 30 seconds, why do you need more points in power? You will literally never run out of power with the cloak artifact, and constantly running supercharges. The lowest I ever get is around 35% power. I love the spec, but 100% disagree with you on power vs vit. What good is the power if you never use it? I would rather run high vit and run out of power to pop a soda, than to always be at 50% power bar giving out less. Awesome videos though, thats the only thing I do not agree with :)
i agree on most of what Psufan5 is saying as i also dont spec any power i maxed both my power crits {chance and magnitude) and maxed vit the extra i,ve spent in crits for damage chance and magnitude the only difference is with the intervening time thats elapsed i use 3 artifacts Amulet of Rao, Parasitic Power Harness, and the Dead Kings Scepter which reduces the CD of my trink, supply drop,and Henchmen by 10% the CD of Orbital is also dropped by 20% and Damage increased by 20% with over 16.2k vit unbuffed i easily solo anything in game and dont use soda at all, also clipping is fine but your missing a point of hybrid and treating it like a superpower build, with hybrid weapon attacks restore some of your power add the replenishing adapter to the weapon for more so i dont clip with powers i hit the power then spam 3 quick ranged attacks from my hand blasters to regain power and activate the weapon mod add inertial innervation mod in my boots returns more power when i double jump i stick to my rotation which is heavily based around Temporal Extortion and ranged weapon attacks and reapply my debuffs as required
If maximizing might is ideal for effective time bombs, and Oblivion is a 100% sc so you won’t be using it back to back, would it be better to run the tetra or eye of Gemini as quantum and why?
the same as if you had robot sidekick and took it out of your parser. Both are comparable in damage except bat drone doesn't have a melee attack like robot sidekick. If I would have taken out oblivion and put robot sidekick instead I would have seen the same parsers as I was range.
Angelo Beza depends what you are looking for, mental will give the most “power out” but quantum has faster sc for shields and has better stuns. I personally would take quantum over mental
It's the best controller role in my opinion, the dps side is also very good you just have to have raids where player's can't melee like elite etc. If say like a gadgets can melee it will do more dmg than quantum but at range dps quantum is near top in the game.
Weapon doesn't really matter unless you are prec based but I prefer a weapon you can quickly lunge with like 1handed or shield. For single target you can use rifle for a bit of extra damage on boss. In terms of the powers depends on what you are doing, mental will be much better for melee damage and single target. Quantum is much much better at range damage, has a better aoe supercharge and is pretty good at single. If you are mostly running regular content or older raids mental will be fine if you are running elite raids quantum will be better.
14:33 I showed where I spec'd my sp into my skill points as controller, in terms of updating this, its not necessary. These rotations both for dps, single target and controller are still the highest parsing for quantum for raids. Sure it won't be the higest for duos or alerts with gravity well because of the 12s cooldown on the pi applicator but dmg is still fine. the 1-handed is for lunging quicker to the next set of adds so I can start my setup. It takes a bit longer for quantum to get setup with the PI and timebomb so if I am rifle or staff etc where the lunge is bad I can't follow as quickly and lose dps time. Quantum has no melee abilities so being in melee range doesn't benefit be at all damage wise

@@jonathanthomas4498 That would only be if I am weapons spec'd but I am Superpowered based so all my damage comes from using my powers rather than any weapons attacks. It all depends on what playstyle you pick for qunatum, if you want to use your weapons you can go precision and weapons expert spec and melee away with bow and dual wield etc.
lol so you're just talking about in some low level reg content raid where groups of adds are dying every 10sec and then TB would miss cause everything is dead and GW would be on cooldown, im not talking about running old shitty content when I make guides im talking about what is current and future content not whats in the past. If you want to run a rotation with all instant cooldowns and spam inspiral waves and run old reg raids then be my guest. Quantum in general falls behind in content like that you aint beating a melee rage, gadgets, earth heck even munitions and metal in melee that isn't what the powerset is for you have content where those powersets can't melee the entire raid and quantum jumps ahead.
@@ObsidianChill I think what he was trying to say is that adds/some bosses can jump or move away from time bomb before it hits, and the gravity well. If they still get hurt even after moving far from it when it hits then he could be wrong. Also I was wondering what the reasoning is with using gravity well instead of singularity? Gravity well is horrible, takes a long time to cool off and does basically no dmg

How are you recharging oblivion since the loadout lacks the supercharge generator? [anomaly]
SC will recharge without Anomaly in loadout just through attacking but will do so at a slower rate than if you where using Anomaly
I personally spec vit/dom and I know most people wouldn't. I use it for pick ups though and it allows for a stronger shield, sometimes I run beside the tank in raids because its easier to crowd control and keep teammates in my field of vision. How do you feel about this?
Personally if you are max geared and have the OP items its not necessary to mod dom the gear itself will give you more than enough dom because the OP items account for roles like tanks that already have high dom in their gear. My controller shields without any dom besides the dom/power in my blues is more than enough to absorb the impact on the tentacles in The Threat Below Elite on aquaman. You mention you want stronger shields for pickups but almost all the controllers have shields that are aggro dumps so in most situations unless there is some large dot ticking you wouldn't be attacked anyways while you are getting the rez which negates that extra dom you mod for.
Stronger shields not just for pickups but for cc because as I said I like to run beside the tank because it makes for easier cc or run ahead so that the tank can prolong taking damage for a few seconds or run past enemies to activate things, I just think dom helps me personally be able to move around and focus on minor things while the tank, dps, and healers focus on fighting.
A boss fight, I approach a little differently I focus on debuffs and pickups and any adds that come in
Same with my spec I will run ahead and stun all the add groups so when they breakout they slowly follow my aggro back to the tank so he doesn't have to reposition and because of my power pool everything had 3 debuffs on it at all times whether its an add or a boss because of the procs on my elite gear and artifact

the only beneficial power you could sub in would be inspiral waves to use the PI but you can still be a good distance away with Wave at least 20feet like I showed in the video also wave will hit targets behind you as well because of its nature so if say adds spawn behind you before the tank pulls them you are already doing damage to that target. But if you insist on max range than just use inspiral waves x2 instead of wave.

This load out hits really hard and is consistent. The only problem I found being 207 cr is that it drains a lot of power. This load out isnt consistent in solos and duos. Any tips on how to negate that??
Max artifacts will fix your power.
Which trolling power you prefer over quantum and munitions?
I personally prefer quantum, munitions is easier to play with but quantum is more fun

munitions has better melee, quantum has better midrange and they are pretty much tied for max range. Munitions SC is better for single target and Quantums is better for AOE so tough call really. Quantum will use more power than munitions however

Parasitic Power Harness, Amulet of Rao, and some would say Scrap of the Soul Cloak i use The Dead Kings Scepter for the reasons i explained in my reply to the comment above this thats for my troll anyway, my dps also uses the Scepter, the Tetrahedron of Urgund is non negotiable it,s a must have and i,m using the Omegahadron as my final artifact

I just wanted to add my 2 cents in for the debate between power vs vit. I respectfully disagree with you about this aspect of the game. I run full vit with 100 points in power, and I am never in need of using a soda. I run exactly the same loadout as you also. The only time I use a soda is when I want to give the group a power burst (Krypto soda) or if I just got picked up. Putting all of your points into the power pool instead of vit reduces the amount of power you are giving out. Given that you essentially have a supercharge up every 30 seconds, why do you need more points in power? You will literally never run out of power with the cloak artifact, and constantly running supercharges. The lowest I ever get is around 35% power.
I love the spec, but 100% disagree with you on power vs vit. What good is the power if you never use it? I would rather run high vit and run out of power to pop a soda, than to always be at 50% power bar giving out less. Awesome videos though, thats the only thing I do not agree with :)
i agree on most of what Psufan5 is saying as i also dont spec any power i maxed both my power crits {chance and magnitude) and maxed vit the extra i,ve spent in crits for damage chance and magnitude the only difference is with the intervening time thats elapsed i use 3 artifacts Amulet of Rao, Parasitic Power Harness, and the Dead Kings Scepter which reduces the CD of my trink, supply drop,and Henchmen by 10% the CD of Orbital is also dropped by 20% and Damage increased by 20% with over 16.2k vit unbuffed i easily solo anything in game and dont use soda at all, also clipping is fine but your missing a point of hybrid and treating it like a superpower build, with hybrid weapon attacks restore some of your power add the replenishing adapter to the weapon for more so i dont clip with powers i hit the power then spam 3 quick ranged attacks from my hand blasters to regain power and activate the weapon mod add inertial innervation mod in my boots returns more power when i double jump i stick to my rotation which is heavily based around Temporal Extortion and ranged weapon attacks and reapply my debuffs as required

Use tetra if you're going to use Oblivion. If you're going to use eye of gemini use temporal vortex.

the same as if you had robot sidekick and took it out of your parser. Both are comparable in damage except bat drone doesn't have a melee attack like robot sidekick. If I would have taken out oblivion and put robot sidekick instead I would have seen the same parsers as I was range.
Big thing is that its a permanent pet, thats a pretty good advantage

Angelo Beza depends what you are looking for, mental will give the most “power out” but quantum has faster sc for shields and has better stuns. I personally would take quantum over mental

It's the best controller role in my opinion, the dps side is also very good you just have to have raids where player's can't melee like elite etc. If say like a gadgets can melee it will do more dmg than quantum but at range dps quantum is near top in the game.

Weapon doesn't really matter unless you are prec based but I prefer a weapon you can quickly lunge with like 1handed or shield. For single target you can use rifle for a bit of extra damage on boss. In terms of the powers depends on what you are doing, mental will be much better for melee damage and single target. Quantum is much much better at range damage, has a better aoe supercharge and is pretty good at single. If you are mostly running regular content or older raids mental will be fine if you are running elite raids quantum will be better.

14:33 I showed where I spec'd my sp into my skill points as controller, in terms of updating this, its not necessary. These rotations both for dps, single target and controller are still the highest parsing for quantum for raids. Sure it won't be the higest for duos or alerts with gravity well because of the 12s cooldown on the pi applicator but dmg is still fine. Really bothers me you have a melee weapon but you dont go melee to do dmg is so weird it doesn't make sense
the 1-handed is for lunging quicker to the next set of adds so I can start my setup. It takes a bit longer for quantum to get setup with the PI and timebomb so if I am rifle or staff etc where the lunge is bad I can't follow as quickly and lose dps time. Quantum has no melee abilities so being in melee range doesn't benefit be at all damage wise

@@jonathanthomas4498 That would only be if I am weapons spec'd but I am Superpowered based so all my damage comes from using my powers rather than any weapons attacks. It all depends on what playstyle you pick for qunatum, if you want to use your weapons you can go precision and weapons expert spec and melee away with bow and dual wield etc.

lol so you're just talking about in some low level reg content raid where groups of adds are dying every 10sec and then TB would miss cause everything is dead and GW would be on cooldown, im not talking about running old shitty content when I make guides im talking about what is current and future content not whats in the past. If you want to run a rotation with all instant cooldowns and spam inspiral waves and run old reg raids then be my guest. Quantum in general falls behind in content like that you aint beating a melee rage, gadgets, earth heck even munitions and metal in melee that isn't what the powerset is for you have content where those powersets can't melee the entire raid and quantum jumps ahead.
@@ObsidianChill I think what he was trying to say is that adds/some bosses can jump or move away from time bomb before it hits, and the gravity well. If they still get hurt even after moving far from it when it hits then he could be wrong. Also I was wondering what the reasoning is with using gravity well instead of singularity?
