I'm from 🇺🇸 and I was genuinely *shocked* when I came to the comments and saw people praising whatever I just watched 😂 I'm not sure if I completely missed the joke/humor on face value.. or if this is _UK humor_ and that's why I don't get it and it's all UK residents that are insisting this is "hilarious" in the comments lmao 😭
It’s ok, I’ll translate 🇬🇧 The joke is that stag do’s (bachelor parties) are known for being raucous and wild. Kieran (the Best Man in the sleeveless jacket) is trying his best to be the archetypal laddish Best Man and it’s coming off awkward and aggressive because it’s not suited to his sensitive personality and he’s doing too much. The energy he’s trying to bring isn’t the energy he’s actually bringing and doesn’t match the vibe of this group of men, who seem sweet, polite and respectful and just wanted to come to a nice bar and have a few drinks. He’s trying to be daring and chaotic but he’s doing it wrong and no one wants him to be like that anyway. Modern British humour involves a lot of cringing and ‘Thank God that isn’t me’ sentiments. Also the actor who plays Kieran is Jamie Demetriou, who is the writer and star of a sitcom called Stath Lets Flats, which has a bit of a cult following.
Kiero has also called verbal diarrhea, at least in stressful situations. Not really funny, but the excellent social competence of the other men. Tourette-Syndrom in action.
No that he’s trying hard to create a typical stag do which in his mind is drinking and guys shitting themself for a laugh, even though that’s not the person he is
100% cringe, that I could somehow not understand a second of. Actors were all so weird in their delivery, camera work was confusing on top of it. Hope someone likes this or it was a lot of wasted time and money.
They are all middle class or posh guys and he's trying to act like a working class lad but he's way too awkward to pull it off. It's really British stuff. Check out 'Stath Lets Flats'.
Are you British? If you’re not then I’d understand, because it’s all British culture that he refers to. I can imagine it’d be hard to relate to it if you weren’t.
It's like he's captured the essence of Clapham in South London in a bottle. Crying
Elaborate bro?? What you chatting
i've never enjoyed something more and not understood why i enjoyed it, ever.
This gives me real "I Think You Should Leave" vibes. Def gonna check this show out.
this entire show was masterful

Never seen the face of 'your first taste of Guinness' so aptly represented!
Jamie Demetriou is genius
The big zinger was when he revealed that Kieran doesn't drink. That one caught me in the jaw.
I have been on this stag do. Painfully funny
Tim Robbinson approves.
That's the rat guy from Fleabag

Unwatchable and engrossing in equal measure!
What the hell did I just watched?
No idea. It was cringe worthy..... Talentless...
SHORT NETFLIX
What's Is this 🤣🤣
Mal elaborado el trailer.
WTF?
It was ok until the end - Mate, I don't want to see that, that's just wrong.

Small nitpick, the constant swearing (verbal diarrhea) is *coprolalia,* which can but does not have to come with tourettes syndrome.
Is the joke that he has tourettes?
No that he’s trying hard to create a typical stag do which in his mind is drinking and guys shitting themself for a laugh, even though that’s not the person he is
How does this get green lighted for a show ?
Does any body get this humor
I don't get it.
Maybe it's too short

It's British humour so... Maybe that's why?
@@purplebubblegum4055 I'm from a former British colony and can't get it😂😂😂

I didn't find this funny. the whole show wasn't funny to me 🤷🏼♂️
Ok
